  Be forewarned before you go to the Piedmont Physicians Center in Cartersville GA!!!I got raked over the coals by this office! They do NOT bill as "physician charges"! They bill under the "Piedmont Hospital Window" so insurance will process as hospital charges, NOT physician charges!!! I went to see a wound care specialist for a surgical wound that wasn't healing properly and was told to come back again the following week. At this visit, I was taken into an exam room and there was 1 doctor and a medical assistant that cleaned my 5 inch wound and put medication and a bandage on it. It is important to note that they did NOT ask for a copay upon my arrival and when I went to check out, I asked about payment and the office staff member said they would just "bill me". After my 2nd visit had taken place, I received the EOB (explanation of benefits) from my insurance showing the charges on my first visit and I was blown away to see what was billed and what my patient responsibility was. What I thought should have been a $35.00 office visit or even a $50.00 specialist visit turned out to be way more! For my first visit, they billed $6000.00 and for the 2nd visit, they billed $5300.00. My patient responsibility for those 2 visits ended up being over $2000 due to my deductible. If the office staff would have told me UP FRONT that they bill as a hospital setting, I would have walked out. I feel like this is very underhanded! I work in medical billing and I know that the only reason they are billing as a "hospital" is because they can get more money and this is just WRONG!! I called to discuss this with the Piedmont Billing office and it was a huge waste of time! They didn't care at all and all they were concerned about was getting their payment! Beyond ANGRY about everything Piedmont!!!

  As a patient at Piedmont Primary Care in Cartersville, Ga. I highly recommend the office and Dusty Ray Bright, NP. He is incredibly thorough, caring, and attentive making me feel comfortable and valued . The front office staff and medical team are friendly, professional, and efficient, creating a welcoming environment. I truly appreciate the compassionate care I received. Highly recommend!

  So thankful for Dr Bright & Katy! They have helped me so much and truly have listened to my needs and wants and have worked with me to achieve them. I highly recommend to go see Dr Bright for whatever needs you might have. He’s been so easy to talk to and I’m so thankful I found this practice!

  Dr Taylor is the absolute best. I have never seen a doctor that listens to me so well and really wants to help like he does. And I have seen many doctors.
