- KNKahlfani NantambuDec 28, 20251.0I went to this Pearle Vision at the end of last year simply to get new lenses for my Oakley frames that I wear to work everyday. I hadn’t used my insurance benefits for the year so I thought I’d better before the end of the year. I went to this Pearle Vision in Carrollton. I went through the normal process of the eye examination and then went to order lenses for my frames. The front desk person I don’t remember her name told me that because they didn’t have my frame to measure the lenses for that I would have to send my frame in to get the lenses made and that it would be $35 for insurance if the frame got broken. I made sure to inquire that I would still be able to use my benefits from 2024 since that’s when I initially started the prescription for the new lenses. Well long story short the frames did get broken. Here’s the bad part by the time Carrollton Pearle Vision got in touch with me in mid January of 2025 to tell me the frames had gotten broken, 1) I couldn’t use my 2024 benefits and had to use my 2025 benefits. 2) So I lost a whole year of vision benefits plus I ended up having to pay out of pocket for lenses for another frame that I already had. 3) I paid for frame insurance and the frames never got replaced. I hope the review helps someone. I like Pearle Vision and I will continue to use them, HOWEVER I WILL NEVER EVER USE THE PEARLE VISION IN CARROLLTON AGAIN.

Dr Fareed did an excellent job explaining the octomap and why I was having more floaters. and flashing, etc He was professional and kind. Maria and Chellsea were really great! They fit me in ASAP as they realized I was as worried that something really serious was happening. (It wasn’t) .And Maria was great at helping me pick out frames (stylish but affordable on my retiree income.) Thank you!
