GNC aims to inspire people to live well. Whether someone is an athlete or just starting to focus on their health, we want to deliver the cutting-edge, efficacious ingredients and products they deserve.
I was gifted a $20 gift card. I checked the balance on it before going to the store. I popped in and was going to grab some GNC Creatine Monohydrate, since they didn't have Optimum Nutrition Creatine. I tried using the card at checkout and the cashier couldn't figure it out. It wouldn't swipe at all, and the cashier said, " I sell a lot of them but don't know how to use them". He don't know how or didn't try keying it in. I mean it's a GNC gift card?!? I didn't purchase the product and left since I wanted to use the card and really didn't want the creatine I was purchasing it was just what they had. I will use the gift card online to avoid the unpleasantries of the store but the cashier needs more training. I will not be going back to GNC and will purchase all products elsewhere. After going on line and ordering to pickup in store I also found it was cheaper online. Let's do better GNC.

You might as well not even shop here. Id give them 0 stars.. I went in to buy something , and put it on the counter just for the dude to say i can’t buy it lol. How about not put it on your shelves if your not going to sell it ? I dont care .. I hope this whole company goes out of business because they couldn’t run a business no matter how hard they tried. Just a bunch of weirdos!

I have been to numerous GNC locations all across the country, and this is by far the WORST location I have found. The associates are rude, arrogant, disrespectful, poorly trained and uninformed. When they dont know something, they get defensive and try to turn it back on the paying customer. I have been shopping this particular GNC since 2002, but I will never be back. I came in with a GNC promotional coupon from my email. This was the entire purpose of me coming in. The young trainee, Ben, who for some unimaginable reason, was left responsible for the entire store on this day, flatly refused to honor my valid GNC coupon. After 10 minutes of trying to use the store's computer system that he wasnt properly trained to use, He told me he simply would not accept my coupon. Not because it was invalid, but because he admitted he was not trained how to process it. This somehow became my problem and he insisted I pay the full amount. When I refused, he threatened me physically saying he would "have me removed from the store." I asked him to call his manager. He said his manager was taking a "personal day" and that the store was now closed and I needed to leave. Came back the next day and spoke with the manager. All the manager would say was that "he is a new employee." And "he has been reprimanded." So he admitted a problem, but offered absolutely NOTHING to compensate and possibly keep, a regular 20 year customer for my inconvenience and terrible experience that was the fault of his poor recruitment and training. The manager then admitted to me that his system does not properly process GNC coupons and that he had absolutely no intention of fixing this, saying he manually puts in override codes and chooses which coupons to honor on a case by case basis. But apparently he never passed this information on to the employees he left responsible for operating his store, so valid GNC coupons will only work at the Carrollton GNC if you happen to walk in at the right time of day, or when the manager is not busy taking a "personal day." This is not the only issue I have had shopping here in the past 20 years. In recent years this location has become much worse. The associates are much more rude, disrespectful and less informed now than ever before. I would strongly discourage anyone in the Carrollton area from ever shopping at this GNC location for any reason. GNC prices are already higher than most of the competition. You can get every product in this store for less elsewhere. And its certainly not worth it to pay more and STILL be met with such rudeness, incompetence, child-like defensiveness and even physical threats wehn I was just trying to support a local business. This "local business" has absolutely no concept of customer service, loyalty, integrity or doing right by your regulars. So they really arent a local business at all. They certainly dont act like it. This information has been forwarded to GNC corporate, and a complaint filed. Hopefully in the near future there will be some serious changes made in the form of new management or simply closing the location altogether. This location is harming the GNC brand. STAY AWAY.
