  Piedmont as a whole is awful, and the front desk here is an example. However, Dr. Hefner is amazing. That is why I endure their rudeness. Many of their practices seem to be a money grab.

  Dr. Hefner and his staff are awesome people as well as Doctors. He helps me coordinate all my Doctors and medications. And always has time to listen.

  This was my first visit to this office. I was honestly hesitant at first because of the mandatory mask requirement at the front desk, and I almost left. I have difficulty wearing masks due to confinement issues, and it caused my blood pressure to rise significantly, which is not normal for me. That said, I decided to stay because I was really in need of care, and I’m glad I did. Everyone in the office was very kind and understanding. The nurse practitioner, Umstead was extremely thorough and took the time to listen, which I truly appreciated. They explained that the mask requirement was due to high-risk flu season and not their usual policy. While I didn’t enjoy wearing the mask, I understand their reasoning. Overall, the quality of care and the kindness of the staff made it worth it. I will be returning and just hope that future visits will not require masks.

  Would give a negative star if possible. They do not return phone calls although they have same day guarantee on vm. They do not answer any live calls. Impossible to reach. Only time you will be able to speak to them is if you have an appointment. Have attempted contact for three days without response.
