We have had consistently accurate service from Kroger pharmacy hickory flat. They are knowledgeable and accommodating. Service is great. They follow up. We are quite pleased with their reliability across the board from pharmacists to techs. We are confident in their service and grateful!

I have had so many problems with this pharmacy it’s ridiculous. My doctor would prescribe 4 or 5 refills throughout the year and I would go to pick up a prescription and they would tell me I have no refills available. This has happened to me three times with two different doctors…Every time I would try to get this resolved the pharmacy would blame the doctor and the doctor would blame the pharmacy. Every pharmacist I spoke with was ZERO help and some even blamed me. The most recent issue I had was resolved by Katie, who was so nice and genuinely wanted to help. She is the only pharmacist at Kroger that was actually helpful that I have dealt with.

Taking business elsewhere. This Kroger Pharmacy is terrible. Multiple times I have had a prescription refilled here for it to not be in stock. Refilling it requires them to call my Dr. Which never happens. So then I have to call and do the requesting for them. I thought it was a one off until it happened multiple times. The prescription is then placed on order. I have been off my medicine for going on two weeks to be told they arrived amount was allocated to others after I was told my prescription was being filled on a certain date and time. I have been placed on hold to “be hung up on”…. If you’re smart, go elsewhere. Don’t make my mistakes.

Trying to get a prescription filled when it was filled previously by a Walgreens. Walgreens filled the prescription in two orders but put the full-filled date as the second order I picked up four days later. Buprenorphine, being a controlled substance, can’t be filled before the ordered supply is out (30 days in this case). When Walgreens said the prescription was filled four days after I started receiving medication this also means that I can’t pick up the prescription until four days after I should be able to. “Good,” I thought to myself, “this is easy to understand.” I can get kroger to make a quick phone call to Walgreens, have Walgreens explain the situation, and be about my merry business. Simple, right? No. I spoke with the pharmacist and she said she was not going to listen to anymore whether from me, a doctor, or Walgreens. I doubt God himself could have persuaded her to be a decent person. If anyone has a loved one trying to kick opiates (heroin) you know that withdrawal from subutex happens after a couple days. You’ll also know how difficult it is for your loved one to get off opiates even under the best of circumstances. With this in mind, I would like to issue a special thank you to the this kroger pharmacy. My friend will go into withdrawal, he will use again (after 4 months of being clean), and I will face the same uphill battle I did months ago trying to get him off the substance; that is, if he isn’t dead before then. And to the calcified witch who refused to even listen... it’s your fault. Sincerely yours, -a dissatisfied customer
