12/2024 I was apparently passing a Kidney Stone all my symptoms were linked to that. Got in with no wait because no one in waiting rm. Nurse very unfriendly and didn't know how to take a blood pressure correctly. My arm was hanging down toward floor off the bed. I corrected her then she got an attitude. The doctor came in and ordered CT Scan, blood wk, and Urinalysis without a culture. The XR Tech very nice said I was having a regular CT Scan because the other type CT could not be done because the tech had gone home. When the Dr came back in my RM he said everything looked fine to followup if I have any more problems with my Prim. Care Dr. My symptoms were flank pain, pressure in the groin area, when finished urinating and wiping there was blood on the tissue, after sitting for a few minutes and then standing there was for a minute so much pressure I felt like I was going to pee myself. I never was like that before. Dr again said your ok follow up with Prim Care. You need to get rid of all of these Contracted Doctors. I worked around the medical field 20 yrs. I left went to my car looked at My Chart Results. Everything kidney related looked bad. CT showed Kidney Stones, Gall Stones, Lipoma embedded in Pancreas, High Bacteria in the Urinalysis, and more. I went back in the Wrightsboro Rd Piedmont ER and asked to speak to the Dr again. Only the unfriendly nurse came out and said he's not going to see you. I explained what I had seen on the results that showed I had a problem. She responded saying you do not have an emergency everything is normal and just followup with your Primary Care Dr. I could not see my Primary Care Dr that day or any other day for 7 days. When the pressure was so bad I could hardly walk I felt like I needed to see a Dr. I went to see the next week a Gastroenterologist who did and endoscopy with ultrasound. He said there was no Lipoma embedded in the Pancreas and I had a 2 cm Gallstone which wasn't giving me a problem. Doing that procedure he couldn't see my Kidneys to know if I still had stones. But my symptoms got better by that week. The Urinalysis still showed a lot of bacteria. Piedmont insisted my husband leaves the hospital as an inpatient after being there with a bad UTI. The Contracted foreign speaking said you're fine. Even though his PA said differently. They unhooked him from meds, oxygen etc. He fell hit his head going to wheelchair told me to go hm get his portable oxygen. Said call when You get back they would bring him to front. I pulled up and he was sitting there with no oxygen and could hardly breathe. He Died that night. My Father was a Dialysis PT who had surgery at Piedmont. Because those Contracted Drs don't read all the notes on the portals in the rm kept giving him IV Fluids and Overloaded him with Fluids and he Died as a result because they did not hook him up to dialysis while there. He was normally on dialysis 3 x wk. Piedmont keeps opening other facilities but don't give the good medical care they should at the facilities they already have in place. If I have to go in the hospital I'll choose another hospital and ER.

Communication was terrible, bedside manner HORRIBLE, I had signed my husband up for mychart bc I was wondering if maybe his results from blood work , urine , and CT scan were already posted and I could see them and sure enough they had the results for over an hr for the scan and blood work was almost 2 hrs . Then ultrasound posted nearly right after he got it . They still took over an hr to come back in and even talk to him said everything was fine and to follow up fast forward to less than 24 hrs after leaving, still unable to keep anything down , still visibly unwell . Feels as if he was misdiagnosed and we left with Zero answers! And zero relief ! And now we are having to go back to another hospital for some answers .
