- WAWindie AdamsSep 22, 20251.0I called today to schedule a dental appointment after not having been to the dentist for a couple of years. The person I spoke with (Macy or Maci—I’m not sure of the spelling) scheduled my appointment, but then she brought up that my file showed a few missed appointments. She told me that if something came up and I didn’t reschedule, I wouldn’t be allowed to book again. I asked what appointments she was talking about since I haven’t been in so long, and to my surprise, she listed dates going back almost five years ago—in 2021 and 2019! I was shocked. To bring up missed appointments from that long ago felt completely unnecessary and unprofessional. She could have simply reminded me to call and reschedule if needed, instead of pulling up something so old. The whole exchange came across as rude and left a really bad impression.

But they won me over when they helped my check my 8-year-old’s teeth when our pediatric dentist is MIA since Friday (that’s another story.) They took x-rays we needed and said they will reach out to our new pediatric dentist and work a game plan to get treatment needed a.s.a.p. for his back teeth that aren’t doing good. (Prophylactic antibiotics he had to take for 10-months after birth apparently destroyed the enamel on his teeth while forming and they need help now) So grateful for these folks!!!
