I have been attempting for three weeks to schedule an appointment and my primary care doctor has faxed a referral twice. When I called the front desk and asked if there were any other solutions available after being told again that they do not have it, I was told to fax again and promptly hung up on without any “goodbye” or “thank you for calling”. As eager as I was to receive care at this location, if this is the way the front desk acts after legitimate concern around the referral process I am concerned about the level of care I would receive. I will opt to search for another rheumatologist instead.

Discovering Piedmont Physicians Rheumatology of Atlanta and Dr. Kashif A. Jafri was an incredible relief. For years, I didn’t know what was wrong with me until I was finally referred to see a rheumatologist. After researching, I found Dr. Jafri, and his expertise in psoriatic arthritis and plaque psoriasis has helped me tremendously.
He took the time to discuss various treatment options and made thoughtful recommendations that truly fit my needs. Over the past seven months, my pain has decreased significantly, and the recommended treatment has had a life-changing impact. I now feel confident that my care plan will lead to long-term success.
I only wish I had found Dr. Jafri two decades ago, as no one had been able to properly diagnose or address my issues until I met him.
Thank you so much, Dr. Jafri, for your exceptional care and for treating my autoimmune condition with such expertise and compassion. I am incredibly grateful.

Dr.Song dismissed from the rheumatology, practice because she said my lupus was not active! This is a lie.It is very active now that I have Gerd from a hiatal hernia and and aneurysm, in my abdominal area ! Caused by inflammation becaused of lupus. Doctor Song wanted to patronize me because I have discord lupus. She was wrong to take my case lightly !

On the way to the scheduled appointment, the office calls to triage the patient, asks several questions, tells you to go to the ED for a non-emergent (over 2 week) issue and then cancels your appointment, despite being referred by primary care after unrevealing work-up and repeated pleas to the Clinical Coordinator, Kim and Dr. Amratia.
