  I had been looking for a new PCP with Piedmont Physician Group after my doctor left the practice. One of my favorite doctors that I trusted, Janice McAlister highly recommended Dr. Bich Nguyen. Without hesitation I decided to give her a try since I trusted and loved McAlister’s opinion. I visited Dr. Nguyen in January 2026 as a new patient. Her bedside manner and knowledge seemed great. Since I had a physical exam that day, I had to have blood work. The labs are done in the office. One thing I noticed was that the lab attendants were very rude and unprofessional to all the patients. After a few days following my appointment lab’s results appeared in mychart; however; Dr. Nguyen never read or gave me feedback on my results. I had to send her a message. After a week she finally responded, sent a prescription over to my pharmacy for me to take a medication for two weeks since my lab results showed low potassium levels and come back into the office for labs. I sent Dr. Nguyen a message and asked if I could utilize a Piedmont Physician Group Lab in Vinings (a few minutes from my home) since their location is so far away or if that was not a possibility if the request could be sent to a Quest Diagnostics Lab. Dr. Nguyen’s would never read her messages. A Kirsten, MA would keep responding in her MyChart messages, never answering my questions. All she would ask me was for a fax number for Quest. Finally I was able to reach customer support and was able to get directly to Dr. Nguyen voicemail and left a message on 2/11/26 for a callback from her within 48 hours. The next day I thought it was Dr. Nguyen and it was that Kirsten. Kirsten was so incompetent and had no clue. She couldn’t answer any of my questions and simply said that Dr. Nguyen has too many patients and she asked her to respond to her messages and phone calls. Well you have someone to respond to you messages and phone calls who is intelligent enough to respond and understand what the patient is asking and is needing. I can clearly see that Dr. Nguyen and this office as a whole is not equipped to provide the care that I need. If you are needing care or have questions beyond that office visit, you won’t get it with Dr. Nguyen or her staff. Dr. Nguyen if you are reading this message, Kirsten needs a lot of support and training. She is not adequately supporting you and your reputation.

  Doctors are nice and helpful, the wait time for the lab is insane been sitting here for an hour probably won’t be coming back

  Remarkably skilled, professional and empathetic front-office people at check in. Remarkably slow and seemingly understaffed and/or disorganized back-office. I’ve been waiting 90 minutes to see my doc. Another lady waiting for an hour was just told she’d have to wait another hour, or reschedule. The on-site lab also has operational issues, sometimes asking the patient to re-draw blood.

  Over the year I visited this location for primary care with Dr. Park, I eventually had to leave due to worsening health and extreme financial strain as a result of the poor quality of care I received. My requirements for specialized care regarding certain issues were continuously pushed aside leading to 13+ ER visits and multiple hospital stays throughout my time with him. The direct assumptions about my lifestyle, perceptions towards health and my personality, constant leading questions, inconsistent documentation and a lack of curiosity about patients as unique individuals led to extremely impersonal care & misunderstood needs— leaving me feeling entirely dismissed. Unfortunately, I had to end up voluntarily disclosing an excessive amount of information about me along with personal advocacy to get access to basic healthcare, which only increased my discomfort. Dr. Park has valuable experience and certain positive personality traits that truly set him apart from any other physician I’ve ever worked with. Quality care comes from our physicians being supported for their own needs- I do hope Dr. Park is able to be supported for his own needs as everyone’s a person first before their profession or what they have to offer. Keisha, his med tech is super awesome, respectful, friendly and energetic!

  Be very wary of any interactions with Dr. Sathiraju. Outside from being chronically 1-2 hours late for every appointment (according to him because he is over scheduled and works with geriatric patients. He was only 50 minutes late to mine). I greatly appreciate the office manager, back office manager, and regional director’s help when I reported his sporadic, manic, and concerning behaviors during my appointment, which resulted in me asking to leave because I was uncomfortable with his behavior. I was kindly rescheduled with Dr. Kaur who seemed more competent and qualified to handle patient care.
