  There is not one time that I’ve visited Dr. Eussman-Nelson for an appointment and I felt rushed or not heard. She is very compassionate about the wellbeing of her patients. Her genuine approach upon her entering the exam room is always warm and pleasant. Any message I send gets a response within a decent time frame and my questions are answered in completion. A great PCP is hard to come by and I’m glad I decided to make Piedmont Physicians Group my go to for medical care.

  Did not see my doctor this visit as was only there for a nurse visit shot with the wonderful Twin on April 6 2026. Can't remember her name but the front desk scheduler that has been there so long was great as always. She scheduled my next appointment. But what has happened to everyone else. I've been going there since Dr Coleman first started in practice and now my Great Dr Perry. The lady I checked in with at the desk was horrible, condescending and rude. All the others gave the office a cold feel. I do not do e check in and she berated me. This is not who you want to be the face of Piedmont hospital.

  Aside from being conveniently located for me, I've found the staff responsive (they answer messages!), helpful, efficient and attentive. One discerning nurse noticed something suspicious, referred me to a Cardiologist which led to potentially life-saving surgery (every heard of the widow-maker?) I was so impressed with my PCP I recommended them to my wife, who'd had unsatisfactory experiences elsewhere.

  Front office staff could definitely use refreshers in customer service, after all they ARE the first face you see in entering the office. Went to have labs completed- labs that required fasting. As I was checked in, the lady at front desk said "Oh you're here for labs".... no further questioning just told to go to the back. Not one person asked if I had been fasting or when I last ate - not even the lab tech. PIEDMONT please do better!!!

  Piedmont physicians at Atlantic Station are excellent physicians. The nursing staff is friendly and professional. I have had no negative experience with the physicians, office staff, or other health care professionals in the practice after more than 10 years as a patient. They all actively listened and provided me with available options regarding my care. I especially like the way the doctors have included me in my own care. Dr. Perry is my PCP, and he is very competent, thorough, knowledgeable, and experienced. I have also had a wonderful experience with Dr. Nelson—when I have had the occasion to interact with her. Whether I message or call, I am able to communicate with the person sought in a timely and respectful manner—office staff or physician. Professionalism, competence, communication, and bedside manner matter to me, but I also know that excellent care is becoming more and more expensive and insurance companies want to pay less and less. I thank my physicians for working through the maze of rules, regulations, and limitations to meet my needs. I must give them five stars, and I know it is difficult to please me.
