This is late. Our appointment was on 05-APR-2026. I took my mother to her appointment, and from start to finish, she was treated with the best of care. Christopher made sure that my mother's concerns were addressed, considering, and met. She left there feeling appreciation, and respected. Thank you, Christopher!

Made a contact lens appointment for 13 year old for contacts. There was no drop down for this and selected eye exam contact lens. I called to confirm the appointment, and also received 3 texts messages and a phone call. I reconfirmed that she had never worn contact lenses. Upon check in, I was told that only the fitting- not the hour long training- could be performed because…. Get this… the doctors are going to lunch!!! So, I was allowed to book the appointment, took the day off work, confirmed multiple times and now this…
It was poor service.
Also, the web booking experience is poor.
Lens crafters sends the confirmation texts, apparently NOT this office. So they “have no record” of texts. They also didn’t recognize a 13 year old as a minor in the booking process… and then asked for ID for her….
What an operational disgrace.

Adrianna was an excellent customer service rep. She greeted me as soon as she saw me and allowed me to have the distance to shop around for frames until I was ready. Throughout the whole process of considering progressive lenses, she gave recommendations and suggestions to help me, as this was my first pair. I especially liked that she also wore progressives and gave me her tips and tricks for getting used to them. She also took the time to ensure I got the best price possible through insurance/store deals. I am already recommending this store and Adrianna to my friends.

10-Star Excellence
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (and then some!)
Rarely do you encounter a retail experience that feels less like a transaction and more like a masterclass in human connection and technical expertise. My visit to the LensCrafters on North Druid Rd in Decatur was exactly that.
I brought my girlfriend in to get lenses for her Meta AI Ray-Ban frames, and while the service wasn't even for me, I walked out feeling inspired by the level of integrity and care shown by the team, specifically Mr. Wex.
Why This Location is Different:
• The "No Dumb Questions" Atmosphere:
My girlfriend had several questions about her prescription and features she never knew she needed. Mr. Wex was knowledgeable, playful, and incredibly patient. He never made her feel rushed; instead, he empowered her with clarity.
• The Science of Vision:
Mr. Wex didn't just sell lenses; he educated us.
He walked her through 8-10 different transition lens options, explaining the science behind each one.
His intelligence and kindness allowed her to feel 100% confident in the decision.
• Radical Transparency:
Even though her VA insurance didn't cover these specialty lenses, the team operated with total integrity.
THE GAME-CHANGER: The 50% Deal
If you are looking at Meta AI glasses, listen closely: LensCrafters is currently running an in-store promotion for 50% off prescription lenses for these frames.
Our total would have been significant, but this deal saved me over $400. We also added the $50 year-long lens protection for total peace of mind.
Even at full price, the service would have been worth it, but the fact that they proactively applied this discount speaks volumes about their leadership and customer-first mission.
Final Verdict:
If you want to be treated with respect, learn something new about your eye health, and experience elite-level customer service, go see Mr. Wex.
They don’t just sell glasses here; they build confidence. We will be customers for Life.

I went to Lens Crafters to get a prescription in my Meta Rayban glasses. Wex was very informative and kind. He was very knowledgeable and showed true us excellence and passion with his work. He helped me pick out my prescription lenses and tint and was very very professional and patient with me and even recommended shades of tint for me to choose. I absolutely loved the brown tint shade that I picked out for the transition lens. The whole experience was exceptional. Wex did an amazing job demonstrating to me that it was more of a professional job. We were treated Iike family. If you’re looking for for a family experience and a welcoming one, to buy your glasses, I high recommend you stop by Lens Crafters, and ask for Wex in North Druid Hill for an outstanding experience. Thanks again, Wex, you’re amazing.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
