I cannot say enough amazing things about my experience with this oral surgery team! From the moment I walked in, I felt completely safe, cared for, and respected. Getting my wisdom teeth removed can be nerve-wracking, but this was hands down one of the best medical experiences I’ve ever had. As a medical student this was very important to me !! The entire staff was warm, professional, and incredibly polite. A special shoutout to Jayla, who assisted in the operating room — she was so kind, attentive, and reassuring. You can truly tell this team works together seamlessly and genuinely cares about their patients. My one big request was no pain, and my surgeon absolutely honored that. He made sure I was comfortable every step of the way and checked on me throughout the process. Even after the procedure, they followed up to make sure I was doing well. That level of care means everything. I would come back a million lifetimes and trust him with my life without hesitation. I’m beyond happy with my experience and so grateful I chose this office. If you’re looking for an oral surgeon who is skilled, compassionate, and truly patient-centered — this is the place. Highly, highly recommend!

We just returned from Dr. Tarver's office after a very disappointing experience. When I made the appointment several months ago, they indicated that they could remove my daughter's wisdom teeth during the initial appointment (no separate consultation appointment required) which I found odd so I insisted on scheduling a separate consultation appointment. I specifically scheduled it for the Friday of winter break to ensure she wouldn't miss school, and I tailored our vacation plans to accommodate the Friday appointment. To my surprise I received a call just a few days prior to the appointment telling me the doctor wouldn't be working the Friday of my appointment - no apology, no explanation for why they scheduled my appointment on a date when he wouldn't be working - very robotic, matter of fact delivery. When I asked for new date options, the only time they offered for that week was 8:00 am. Thursday (the day prior to my scheduled appointment) so we took that even though it wasn't at all convenient for our schedule. We completed our registration online and arrived at 7:55. We checked in and waited until about 8:15 when we were called back. The assistant asked typical questions and then asked us to wait to take xrays. About 10 minutes later she returned to let us know that Dr. Tarver wasn't even there! She said that he was in Kennesaw doing an emergency surgery - again, no apology or consideration for our time or schedule. We left. I've had two children and been to many doctors and dentists my entire life (all of whom I'd assume deal with medical emergencies) yet I've never experienced the type of scheduling disorganization and unprofessionalism as we experienced with his office. I'm so glad we discovered this before committing to any surgical procedures.

I was supposed to have my wisdom teeth removed today. I made an appointment on November 20th, sent the referral and X-rays from my dentist and provided my insurance information. I called on the 30th and 31st to confirm the time and see if there was any pre op information I needed to be aware of and no one answered or returned my call. I was concerned when I didn’t receive an appointment confirmation before the New Year’s Day holiday, so yesterday I sent a message to the after hours chat. Within minutes I received a call from a restaurant nearby to this office asking who I was and about my oral surgery, because the after hours phone had been left at the restaurant and they couldn’t figure out who’s it was but saw my number come through with an inquiry about oral surgery so they called me! I informed them the phone must belong to the office nearby to the restaurant. Between this and no confirmation of my appointment I lost sleep over the fact that this team was going to put me under anesthesia. Despite this, I showed up for my appointment this morning. I arrived to find the doors locked and Iights off. I am confused how the office was even able to schedule the appointment on a day they were clearly closed. After taking the day off of work, lining up childcare, and preparing for the recovery from the procedure only to have it not occur has been a traumatic and confusing experience and I am concerned about the professionalism at this office. EDIT TO ADD, I did not make my appointment with the restaurant 🤣 the restaurant was in possession of a lost phone belonging to the office, and saw my page come through and called me to figure out who the phone belonged to. This whole experience has been a joke.

I recently had the experience of having all four of my wisdom teeth removed at East Atlanta Oral Implant and Facial Surgery Center, and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Tarver and the entire staff! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, which immediately put me at ease. Dr. Tarver is not only highly skilled but also incredibly attentive. He took the time to explain the entire procedure to me, answering all my questions patiently. The surgery itself went smoothly, and I appreciated how well the team communicated with me throughout the process. The anesthesia was administered perfectly; I remember very little about the actual extraction, which is just what I hoped for! Post-surgery, the care continued. The staff provided clear instructions on aftercare and checked in on me to ensure I was healing well. Thanks to their expertise, my recovery was quick and relatively painless. If you need oral surgery, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Tarver and his team they truly are the best! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
