    On Thursday, I went to urgent care because I had a sore throat. I often suffer from tonsillitis. I went with very intense pain. They gave me an initial test, and it came back negative. The girl didn’t do it correctly; she touched my tongue and didn’t go back to the throat. The pain continues and continues. They made me spend money, and I’m not getting better. This was negligence on their part.

    Set up a same day appointment for my mother, and the worker who attended us was very nice and a great listener. She made sure to listen to what my mom had to say and what was troubling her. High quality, and left my mom shocked with the results as she was facing difficulties hearing in one ear, and with the ear cleaning did, it really took a positive impact on her. We are sincerely grateful.

    So My first Visit to AFC was good I had a very pleasant Nurse she took her time and listened to me prescribed my antibiotics and cough medicine and told me if I don’t see improvement in a few days come back let’s figure out the steroid shot . She took x ray said everything was clear she sounded my lungs are cloudy, checked my throat and ears and said definately respiratory infection . Well I kept coughing at nights so much it kept me up so Yesterday I decided to go back. OMG ! The doctor Angela I think heard me and said she’s repeating the x ray she did not come in the room to talk with me in the beginning I guess she just pulled up my chart . I wanted to explain what was going on but she came to her own conclusions . Apparently there was mild fluid in my lungs MILD the findings had nothing elsev( BTW I’m a pharmacy student. 3rd year ) anyway she started off saying I’m coughing cause of my DIET omg never mind every other person diagnosed it has a respiratory infection and related to high pollen and bad sinus infection - this craziness was ohh cause I ate pickles and mangoes and probably itvwas salt not pollen causing coughing - what a different kind of crap! But then worse instead of taking care of me she said go to the ER room for 5 hours to get a diuretic . I’m so frigging pissed of this was insanely crazy ! But my blood pressure is 113/54 but I have high salt this makes no frigging sense! - no pleural effusion no consolidation no pneumonia no infection all organs are unmarked . Mild edema - and you don’t frigging prescribe me diuretic you send me to an ER room for what! When I went you know what they asked ! Why did t you get treated there if it was mild edema . I left was not about to sit there for another 6 hours cause itvwas not an emergency. I guess it was insurance money and maybe her affiliation with that ER so of course just be lazy and send me there . HORRIBLE!

    I have been struggling with allergies and a possible upper respiratory infection to the point I have not had the energy to do much besides chores and work. I have been so miserable. Today, I finally have some energy all because I went to ofc and Dr. Hicham Churbaji listened to my complaints and talked fo me candidly about my possible routes to treatments to feel better after coughing all through day for the past 2 weeks. He even went into detail about why I would choose such treatments allowing to feel like I was being educated about things for my health today and going forward. I have made it through an entire work from home day without having terrible coughing fits. I feel more energetic too. I recommend ofc and Dr. Hicham Churbaji!

    If you visit this clinic, be cautious not to let the attending physician advise you to return for a prescription after your visit. They will charge you the FULL visit fee, even if you don’t see or speak to them and simply pick up a prescription two days later. We attempted to work with their billing department to request a discount (not even trying to waive full bill—just a fair resolution), but after a year of back-and-forth correspondence with their billing representatives and staff, who assured us that they “completely understand” why it doesn’t make sense to pay the full visit fee, the outcome was still to “pay the entire amount.” Technically, if you don’t see the physician and follow their directions, you will end up paying extra money. Be wary. This is the essence of exploitative and predatory medical billing practices.
