  Dr. Masri was excellent. She was kind, professional, efficient, and very thorough in her explanations and examinations. On one occasion, there was a very long wait between being called into the exam room and when I actually saw Dr. Masri, but on the whole, my experience was very positive.

  When I went for my appt, I was told by the front that my insurance shows that I had coverage but the ID numbers did not work in their system. I called the insurance and was placed on hold while they searched the issue. Meanwhile I was told by the front I could pay out of pocket. I asked if they could hold my credit card until after my appt with the oncologist to see if i can get the insurance worked out while im in the back. She calls the manager and who says no I have to pay upfront. Then while she hears that I'm still on the phone with the insurance company, proceeds to tell me I have to reschedule my appt or pay to be seen because my appt time had passed. I go ahead and pay and then sit in the waiting room for 20 minutes to be seen. I was not trying to get out of paying, I just wanted them to take the payment after I was seen to know if insurance was going to work or not and I know how hard it is to get a refund from these places. Why does money matter more to Piedmont than the health and well-being of the patient? Especially at a time when I was learning if I could have cancer. The only reason I give them 3 stars is because of the nursing and physician staff whom were nice but a non understanding front end/manager can ruin an office.
