The Little Clinic is located right inside your neighborhood The Little Clinic. Our board-certified nurse practitioners and physician assistants can diagnose and treat minor illnesses, administer vaccines, provide physicals and much more! Plus, we are open 7 days a week and we take most insurance plans.
My son was sick on Labor Day (when his pediatrician was not available, unfortunately). The staff/provider were all kind, professional, and welcoming. The provider prescribed liquid Augmentin for my child after a positive strep test, even though I told her I did not think he could tolerate the liquid. (As he had not improved in 3 days, we saw his pediatrician who fortunately listened and changed his medication.) My larger concern is actually the practice of billing (as I experienced sketchy billing years before at the Athens Trail Creek Kroger location). I explicitly asked if the $99 charge had covered everything, and the attendant told me "yes." Well, today I received another bill for a remaining balance of $20. I know it is only $20 (so I just paid it to be rid of the headache of arguing back and forth), but I had another, similar billing issue the last time I visited the Little Clinic back around 2015 or 2016. The billing practices are sketchy at best. I recommend staying away from any Little Clinic because of this. It is frustrating to be told one thing and then have another thing happen. (I suspect the blame is more at the corporate level than the local level.)
