I had a great experience at LensCrafters at Avalon thanks to Haydin. Haydin was friendly, professional, and very attentive while helping us. He made the process smooth and enjoyable, answered our questions clearly, and ensured we were completely satisfied. Excellent customer service - thank you for the great support!

Terrible communication cost me my insurance benefits and out-of-pocket money.
I ordered glasses for my child last year but called to cancel later that week. The staff explicitly told me I had to wait until the glasses arrived at the store and that they would call me to process the cancellation. I followed up weeks later and was told the exact same thing.
I never received a call. When I recently followed up, they told me they discard orders after 6 months and that there’s "nothing they can do." To make it worse, the rep admitted they actually "never really call anyone" and only text—which completely contradicts what I was told twice. (I use a Google Voice number and received zero texts anyway).
Because of their staff's misinformation and zero follow-through, I am out an $80 payment and entirely lost my annual vision insurance benefits ($250 frame allowance + lenses) for glasses we never received. Trying to get help from their 1-877 corporate number was a complete waste of time. Save your money and insurance benefits, and go somewhere that actually communicates with their patients.

This message is to commend one of the Lens Crafters personnel that assisted me in purchasing my first pear of glasses. Being older with new eye issues and wearing hearing aids and now wearing eyewear is a challenge. Your associate Michelle 771424 was a great help in answering all my questions, selecting my glasses and repairing a faulty pair. She is an asset to your business. The best and I have had over a hundred employees during my tenure as an employer. Good luck to Michelle!

Michelle was soooooo amazing, super helpful & patient. What I wanted initially wasn’t in the store & she was able to find perfect pairs to replace. I even had to leave & come back & she still was more than willing to help. Michelle also booked the eye exam for me! I can’t wait for her to help me find my next pair!

I had a garbage experience. 2 stars for everyone being nice but thats not the problem. I went in, paid for glasses with everything i supposedly wanted. I asked various times if the order was right. I was told yes. Glasses came in and they were wrong. Then I had to pay more for what i originally wanted. They never let me know when the 2nd glasses were sitting there. I called and then they were like, oh yeah they're here and marked em ready then. Then i went to pick up days after and the doctor left early that needed to check the glasses due to the pending ice storm. They had days to do this. So i left empty handed. The crap part on that is that i wasted a trip again. The second crap part is that the doctor left the other employees working still while they left which is crummy imo. Just awful experience getting meta glasses.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
