Lately, though, I’ve noticed a drop in cleanliness — on multiple visits I’ve seen roaches in the workout area . I usually come later in the evening and occasionally in the mornings, it’s rare that I see staff cleaning during those hours. For members who are paying $15/month, a clean and sanitary gym should be the minimum expectation. I really hope management addresses this with more consistent cleaning and pest control, because I’d like to continue coming here.

It was escalated to the location manager who clearly lacked the experience and sensitivity to handle conflict. When he called to ask me to explain what happened, there was none of the expected customer service responses like " I'm sorry that you experienced that at our location, and I understand your frustration". Instead, he accused me of being wrong about what I experienced and then thanked me for my time. The phone call was brief, and in my estimation, just a check on the box for him so that he could say the incident was investigated.
