At Lotus, teens build self-awareness, healthy coping strategies, and stronger connections with parents and peers—laying the foundation for long-term healing.
We were referred to Lotus behavioral for our teen daughter who had a dual diagnosis. We had high hopes for the program. On the second day they called us to get her. She was kicked out of the program. I asked if she was the first teenager that was kicked out of the program, they said, unfortunately it happens more than we like. We were disheartened, but we understood. The problem is is that we paid for 30 days of treatment upfront cash because they said that’s what we had to do with our insurance. Now we are out $2250. The insurance paid them the agreed-upon price I have sent several emails and called several times over the last month of November and we were promised the money on several occasions. I called our insurance Blue Cross. They got involved. Lotus would not respond to them either. I feel like their financial practices are less than professional. We may have to seek legal assistance at this point. The counselors in the place tried their best and I don’t have anything negative to say about them, but the marketing staff and the admin staff leave a lot to be desired. For that reason, I cannot recommend this place. There are many other centers in Florida please do your research. Pro tip if you ever find yourself in a situation, whether your child graduates the program or is dismissed early do yourself a favor label and check all their belongings that are returned. We were missing many items. They sent some back, but some of it was lost forever, such as a book that we got our daughter.

We are incredibly grateful for the care our son has received during his time at Lotus. The staff have been consistently compassionate, professional, and attentive, and they truly made him feel supported and safe throughout his stay. The program has had a very positive impact on his progress, and we’ve seen meaningful growth and stability as a result. We highly recommend Lotus Behavioral Health to families seeking quality inpatient behavioral care.

Lotus provided wrap around treatment and acceptance for my teen when I was not able to help him at home. We are so grateful for the progress he made while he was there. He can be a handful, and they approached his individual needs with care and compassion in a safe environment. By the time my teen was discharged, he truly cared for each and every one of the staff and leaving was bittersweet.

What a wonderful experience! Thank you to the caring people of Lotus for loving our family through a tough time. Every single staffer interacted with our teen in a fashion that helped him think about things differently. Every. Single. Person. Our teen loved the experience there. We could not recommend this facility highly enough. Thank you, Lotus.
