I see a lot of parents who sent their kids here writing reviews about how lotus was for them, but you guys don’t seem to really understand what it was like at lotus. Being in lotus had to have been the most dehumanizing thing I have ever experienced. I will say that there were times that I had a great time like it was enjoyable, but the Majority of the time that I spent there I wanted to get out and there were countless of times that I thought of self harm just because of a place that I was in how are you gonna go to a place that is for recovery for mental health and then constantly put people in a place that they get worse. And then the staff, don’t even get me started. Yes, there are countless of staff that are kind but then there are staff that will literally push your buttons just to get at you so they can specifically get you in trouble. I had one staff member literally tell me “how are you gonna get a husband with those ugly scars on your arms” and “you’re not depressed. You just feed into it because somebody told you youre” Oh, OK thanks cause I was wondering. And don’t even get me started on the food because if you don’t want the food that they give you oh well too bad, starve. there’s no other option you get no other choice and the food Most of the time is the same thing every day and it’s never cooked they never cook it all the way and it is gross. I promise you can ask anyone that has been there It is disgusting. yes sometimes we got pizza but that was literally a rare occasion. And then, if you get sick, too bad, you’re still getting up at 7 AM. You’re still going to all of the groups you’re still doing everything with everyone it doesn’t matter, if you have the flu you’re still going because they’re always understaffed. and if you need to go to urgent care they’re not gonna take you for at least two weeks. And I also cannot tell you how many times people snuck in literal carts into the facility and vapes in my time there. if youre Thinking about sending your kids here and want them to get better I would not recommend. Maybe do IOP here because that’s great. residential? don’t do it.

As a behavioral health professional, I’ve been consistently impressed with the leadership at Lotus Behavioral Health over the last few months. Their team is approachable, ethical, and genuinely invested in building strong relationships with community partners. Communication is clear and collaborative, and it’s evident that they value connection and continuity of care. My granddaughter attended this adolescent residential treatment facility, and I am truly grateful for the care she received. The staff were compassionate, attentive, and genuinely invested in her well-being and growth. Communication with my family was consistent and supportive, and I always felt informed and included in the process. Michele Guzman, Director of Family Services, went above and beyond for my family. Her compassion, responsiveness, and dedication made a difficult time much easier to navigate. I saw meaningful progress in my granddaughter and felt supported every step of the way. I would highly recommend this facility to any family seeking quality care for their child.

Our daughter spent 10 weeks in inpatient at Lotus. From the first day, her care team was wonderful. The staff were supportive, compassionate and caring. One of her therapists was the best she has ever had. Our family was impressed with the dedication, skill set and kindness of staff at Lotus. It's never easy having a loved be placed in residential treatment, but we felt good, comfortable and supported having her there; knowing the treatment team was dedicated to helping her achieve success. Our daughter gained multiple skills during her stay and I can honestly say she is doing better than she has in years. Every single staff we encountered was kind, caring, helpful, compassionate and supportive. Lotus definitely has a dedicated team of professionals. We highly recommend Lotus to any family struggling with what to do with their loved one. Thank you, Lotus. There is hope!

I was at lotus from April 15th to July 11th and it was definitely the worst 3 months of my life. In my 3 months there I was ran up on, my privacy was completely invaded and I didn’t feel like a person. Dont get me wrong sooo many staff were so helpful and gave me so much insight and helped shape me into the person I am now Raymond always encouraging me to continue to do my art Dre for being my lotus dad Ms. Victoria for all her amazing groups jazzy with night shift and of course ms Nadine and everything she’s done for everyone. But there were so many imperfections at lotus including the horrible food that was cold and repetitive and so poorly cooked that sometimes would come raw (I mean we got pizza once or twice so🤷‍♀️ woop woop) and the toilets getting clogged and the A.C. Being broken and the time the washing machine was broken do we had to use the ones on the boys unit But other than that the place was… mediocre they say there’s horse therapy but we only went once or twice in the time I was there but life skills music therapy Pilates and yoga were all fire soo (Meredith if ur reading this here’s your damn review don’t worry I didn’t forget 💋💋)
