Went in because my brand new sunglasses broke. Shawn went above and beyond to help, getting me a free replacement and being super attentive and funny. I cannot recommend him enough, best customer service ever.

My experience at LensCrafters was horrible from start to finish. When I walked in, no one greeted me or offered assistance, even though there were three employees working. I had to approach the front desk myself to let them know I had a 2:00 p.m. appointment. The woman at the desk simply pointed me toward the eye exam area without any explanation or courtesy. When I saw the eye doctor, I explained the issues I was having with my eye. The visit felt rushed, and I was told to use eye drops four times a day. The appointment was not pleasant, and I left feeling like my concerns were not fully addressed. I purchased the expensive eye drops that were recommended, but my eye is still bothering me, which makes me feel like I paid a lot of money for no real solution. After the exam, I looked around at glasses, and again, no one approached me to offer help. I eventually had to ask an employee if they could tell me which frames my insurance would cover. A young employee assisted me, but the interaction felt very brief and minimal. Overall, I am still experiencing eye problems, and this visit did not resolve anything. I also wish the costs had been explained more clearly beforehand. I left feeling disappointed and dissatisfied with the entire experience.

I went with my husband to do the vision exam, we had different doctors but the experience was the same for both, they are patient, accurate, attentive, I really recommend them, the store is large, I saw great variety and the prices are very affordable

I had an excellent experience at LensCrafters in Winter Garden. I brought in a pair of designer sunglasses that needed prescription progressive lenses, and the job was not simple. The original lenses had a curved cut-out designed to fit the frame, which could not be replicated with standard prescription lenses. I had already taken these frames to other optical shops, and none of them were able to adapt them. Roland went above and beyond. He took the time to research whether the lab could handle such a tricky request and didn’t stop there—he personally ensured the fitting was done correctly, including careful manual adaptation of my progressive lenses. I also want to recognize the lady at the front desk, who was instrumental in helping adapt the lenses to the new frame. Her support and attention throughout the process made a real difference. The result was outstanding. The lenses fit perfectly, the work was done quickly, and the quality exceeded my expectations. Roland’s expertise, along with the teamwork and professionalism of the staff, truly set this location apart. Highly recommend this LensCrafters, especially if you have a challenging or non-standard eyewear request.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
