- HWHarold WestDec 22, 20255.0For over 45 years of my life I have worn some form of corrective lenses. I finally made the decision to go forward with getting LASIK done. I conducted a bunch of research and the LASIK VISION INSTITUTE came highly recommended. The initial consult was amazing and they were very clear on what to expect on the day of surgery. They will call and continously follow up with you to ensure that no questions have came up that you have. On the day of the surgery they understand that most people are very anxious and they are very helpful to keep you informed on what is happening and really set you at ease. The procedure is completely painless and Doctor Fox is a true expert at what he does! My appointment time was at 10:30 and I was walking out around 12:30. I think this would have been different on a day where they were less busy but I decided to have it done on a Saturday. The recovery was not too bad. There was some burning and stinging in my eyes for about 4 hours after the procedure. I slept through the majority of it. The post operative appointment lasted about 15 minutes and was great! They look over your eyes to ensure everything is healing properly and do a small vision test to see where you currently are. I would 10 out of 10 recommend this place to anyone looking to have LASIK done. They are so nice and the staff is amazing. Thank you for such and awesome experience!
