  I am updating my review from 1 to 5 stars because Dr. Bago personally contacted me and took the time to explain that GLP-1 pills are very new, and there is still limited information available about them. There was also a miscommunication with her staff, which she addressed promptly. Dr. Bago scheduled an appointment with me, during which I was able to fully explain my situation. She carefully reviewed my condition and did everything she could to help. She ultimately prescribed the medication and put a clear follow-up plan in place, including future appointments to monitor my response and evaluate the benefits of the treatment. I truly appreciate her professionalism, responsiveness, and commitment to patient care. Previous review: I have been a patient with this practice for about one year and have been receiving GLP-1 compounded injections, paying approximately $500 per month. Recently, I retired, and due to a tighter budget, I began looking into switching to the new Wegovy pills, which would cost about half of what I am currently paying. I explained my situation and was told that they do not offer the pill form at this time. I then asked if they could provide me with a prescription—similar to the one used for my current treatment—so I could obtain the medication from another provider temporarily, with the intention of returning once they begin offering the pills. The doctor refused this request and provided explanations that I found unconvincing and unsupported. I was disappointed by this response, as I expected a more patient-centered and flexible approach. I am sharing this experience so others are aware when considering this provider.
