Very upsetting experience on November 7th at Dyer Chevrolet on the Big Red Bus. While Mia was super friendly and courteous her co-worker was extremely rude. Mia couldn't find a vein (which is the norm for me even if I drink a ton of water because i have tiny veins) so she asked her co-worker to come and help. I explained that I had drank a lot of water that day and previous days; however the co-worker barked at me and said "well how much is a lot "? I told her at least 48 oz. She said that wasn't enough. Here i am trying to do a good deed and instead I get criticized. I filled out a form to explain how awful my experience was. I heard back from Nicole and she said what can we do to make it right. I told her it would be great if they issued me another gift card for the aggravation and she said she was pretty sure they could do that. It was escalated to customer service and I heard back from Julie and she said since I already used my gift card they won't be issuing another one.

I smile when I enter One Blood Center and see Larry and Susie. Steady, professional, friendly. They are interested in their customers and perform a painless blood draw every time. Both are such assets to the organization. I feel like they are friends and I look forward to continuing to be a regular blood donor in their capable hands.

I went to give blood today and checked before I made the appt that they only allowed 2 people at a time on the bus. When I went there was going to be 4 total with 2 workers a total of 6 which is to many. When I Arrived they were going to take my temp with a oral probe, the cord is not sanitary and close to your face, not to mention the woman just touches a guys IV site and picked up the probe without sanitizing her hands. I want to help save lives but not at the expense of my life. Needless to say I walked out.
