- NINicole Indelicato4 days ago5.0I had an eye exam with Dr. Alexi Rodriguez and he was absolutely phenomenal. I’ve been wearing glasses and contacts for years, and I’ve truly never had such a thorough, kind, and attentive optometrist. He explained every step before doing anything, checked in regularly to make sure I was comfortable, and took the time to really listen to all of my concerns and questions. He took detailed notes, offered thoughtful advice, and you could tell he genuinely cares about his patients. The exam itself was incredibly comprehensive. He made sure my glasses and contacts prescriptions were exactly right. I left feeling confident in the results. I also had digital retinal imaging (Optomap) and pressure testing with the iCare device (which was so much gentler than the old “puff” test!). The technology they use is impressive, and Dr. Rodriguez took the time to go over everything with me in detail. I was also dealing with an eye issue that required specialized care, and Dr. Rodriguez went above and beyond to help. He personally ensured I got an appointment with Eye Associates of Venice to see a specialist first thing the next morning so the issue could be addressed promptly. I’ve never had a doctor advocate for me like that. Dr. Rodriguez is intelligent, caring, incredibly thorough, and a true asset to this practice. I would confidently recommend him to absolutely anyone looking for an exceptional optometrist. I also want to add that the staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Dr. Rodriguez's assistant (I believe her name was Shania) was very kind, gentle, and had a great personality. The two lovely ladies in the front of the store are great too.
