We were greeted with smiles and warmth by the staff, and the office was clean and orderly. The Doctor was easy to talk to, did an excellent job answering all of my questions, and was very gentle, patient and kind to my daughter that has autism. I couldn't be happier with our visit.
Overall the team is incredible! Scheduling was easy, and I was seen within 10-15 minutes of my appointment. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient, Truly top-notch service.
I had a very great experience here with the entire team who were very polite and thorough. Frank and the staff made me feel very welcome while I was here. I would definitely recommend this office.

All I was looking for was a dermatologist that accepted my insurance that I was near by. I came to my appointment and not only did it meet my requirements, it has the most fantastic staff! The office is clean, everyone is kind and patient, and Dr. Navarra is a 5 star doc- without question!

I don't often leave reviews but feel compelled to when a customer service experience is either exceptional or subpar. My experience at Academic Alliance in Derm, Valrico was the latter. Everyone makes mistakes, me included, which was the case at my most recent visit. I had written down a time for this new appointment from my last visit that was given to me by them and put it on my calendar. Eight months later, I come to the appointment at that time to be told that my appointment was actually 30 minutes earlier. Now, I don't know if that was my error from the beginning or if something has changed over the months and not communicated to me, but frankly, it doesn't matter. When I had asked if there was any availability, I was met with a snotty response of, "well, no, because your appointment was always scheduled for earlier." Then a long pause, waiting for some kind of solution from them...or simply a "I'm sorry this happened, let's see if we can't find another time that works for both of us." Instead, there was an awkward silence, and I simply said, "Ok, then" and walked out. Now, this wound was especially deep because the last time I was there, I scheduled the first appointment of the day, so that I could get in and out and go to my job. I got there 5 minutes early but then sat and waited for them to call my name for OVER 40 MINUTES. The PA was late walking in to work and the front desk gave no explanation or apology for the wait. So, then this time around, I am met again with zero empathy or an ounce of customer service. It is apparent that they care little for their patients, so I guess they don't need my patronage. I will be going elsewhere in the future.

This office is totally disorganized. Calls simply drop after ringing forever during their 1hr lunch break with no explanation. I thought their phones were down and drove their to check why my prescription wasn't called in. You will have to beg and call multiple times if you need any prescriptions, as in my prior experience to this. Office staff is rude and handed me a copy of the wrong prescription after going there in person causing me to return and have to micromanage the whole situation and track down the doctor in person at the office for resolution. Then my insurance wouldn't approve the prescription since it was not coded properly by the office for the pharmacy to fill. Do not waste your time and find a professional office which doesn't overbook appointments 3 at a time for 1 doctor who can't keep up.
