Unfortunately I was forced to visit the ER three times during a two month stay in Key Largo. However, I was beyond impressed with every aspect of the care I received. The administration, nurses and doctors were friendly, funny when I needed that, highly competent and extremely thorough. I DONT recommend a visit to the ER but if you have to go, have no fear- they will take care of you.

Following a slip and fall on the wet deck of a small water craft, I was concerned about possible hip damage. I visited the Mariners emergency room and was greeted with professional and courteous administrative and medical staff and care. X-rays confirmed no fracture, so muscular aggravation treatment was prescribed. All questions were answered and all needs were adequately satisfied. Much appreciation extended to the entire staff.

I had a recent visit to Mariners ED, and I truly want to thank the entire team for their care and professionalism. A special thank you to Kim, the ED coordinator, for being so knowledgeable and helpful throughout my visit, it really made a difference. Lauren, my nurse, was absolutely amazing. From the moment she introduced herself, she made me feel comfortable and at ease, even while I was short of breath. Her calm presence, attentiveness, and compassion stood out and meant so much to me during a stressful time. She truly embodies what nursing care should be. The physician was also very professional, kind, and took the time to answer all of my questions, which I really appreciated. I’d also like to acknowledge the entire team — including registration and the respiratory therapist, Luis — everyone was kind, efficient, and professional. Overall, I felt well cared for, and I’m grateful for the experience. Thank you all for the work you do every day.

I'll start by saying that I believe the laws are stacked against the average person. I am a chronic pain patient which automatically makes me suspect in medical professionals eyes. Yet, I do have the MRI's & Dr scripts to back up my chronic issues. Why do we even have meds for chronic pain if we are gunna judge everyone taking it like a drug fiend?! Long story short, the NP said "you probably won't be able to fill your meds here" she was right. Yet knowing that, she offered zero help. Thanks for....🤷‍♀️ ***After getting negative feedback I'm changing to 1 star. I did Not present as a pain patient but as having a major bacterial infection. I'm an honest person, therefore explained me/my representation @ my chronic pain. Was never looked @ nose, throat, abdomen palpated. So essentially felt like was given the bare minimum, if that, along with judgement. I'm updating to a 4 star because o did have to go back & this time around, I felt well cared for. Night & day care. Every nurse & my NP were super thorough this time. My NP ran the necessary bloodwork & did the MRI I needed. I had complete confidence in this medical team. So i guess, like anything, depends who you get & how serious they take your complaints. I'm very thankful for the last group, they deserve 10⭐️
