  Riverside recovery was exactly what I needed in my life when I was struggling with substance abuse. My life was in shambles and Riverside made me want to live again. The facility was very nice with great amenities to help with your recovery. I did lapse in the pool daily and worked out in the gym where I gained my strength back. The counselors and therapist were amazing, they made me feel safe and heard. The group activities were so helpful in getting me out of the isolation mode I had been in for years. I will be celebrating my one year sober in February and wouldn’t have been able to reach this milestone without Riverside Recovery. I still get calls from Anthony, who is so kind, to just check in on me and make sure I am doing well, and to see if I need anything. If you’re struggling, call Riverside.

  As someone who works in mental health and substance abuse, I can say that Riverside Recovery does AMAZING work. We trust them with our clients and frequently refer clients to them. I’ve also had a number for friends and family get treatment at Riverside it has changed their lives for the better. They are saving lives!

  Riverside was such a great way to help me focus on myself, eliminate the triggers, stress, enablers that kept me in the loop of poor decisions. The entire staff was supportive, positive and did everything within their power to make the process as smooth and rewarding as possible. Nothing about this process is easy but they go above and beyond to assist you in journey. Can’t thank everyone on the nursing staff, the counselors enough for their compassion and kindness throughout my stay. Beautiful location on the Hillsborough river with a large gym, pool and other amenities. It’s also great to get calls from Anthony checking in to see how I’m doing, truly want to thank everyone from the medical staff, cleaning crew, food preparation staff( which makes great food) and all the patients who shared their stories strength and hope with me. It’s been one of the best decisions of my life as of recent, been a year since and I’m still on the right track. It’s a lot easier than you think, especially with a medical staff that has your back, the real work comes when you get back in the real world….you have to be willing to give up negative behaviors, associations, etc. to move on properly.
