I’ve been under Chiropractic care for 30 years, primarily for maintaining posture and general wellbeing. More specifically, I’ve been a professional and semi-professional drummer for 35 years and it takes a toll on the body. Dr. Russo is one of only a handful of doctors who understand their practice and craft far beyond their ā€œtraining.ā€ He thinks and has an intuition far outside what I have received from the common pale of Chiropractic care in this or any other city. He is deep, caring, and more than able in regard to his practice. He is all at once simple and boutique, depending upon what you need. I was referred some years back by a trusted friend, and I would recommend him to anyone.

People come into our lives for a reason. When my chiropractor sold his practice, I decided to stay with the new Dr, who replaced him. Dr Russo! A few years later, a car accident left my neck with a fractured C7. The hospital, wanted surgery. I took my records to Dr Russo, he put me through an intensive physical therapy program, that now, almost 23 years later, I am still, so very grateful for. With his knowledge, Dr Russo created an individualized program to help "me". He treats each patient with this enthusiasm. About 6 months ago, the x-rays told me that my "age" was showing. So off I went to Dr Russo, he looked at the x rays & told me, "We can't stop it, but we can hold it back!!" & Then explained what was going on & what I could do, to help myself! (I just love this guy!!) I went from being afraid to take that first step, after sitting or standing, to climbing the fig tree & walking the dogs & playing with grandkids, without hesitation. So, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Dr Russo, for coming into my life.

Been going to Dr. Russo for 20+ years. Absolutely the best Chiro in Tallahassee. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone and everyone. Also know that he is an expert in Sport Medicine and Rehabilitation. I had major shoulder surgery in April of 2022 and he has been handling the bulk of the Physical Therapy and Rehab and I'm definitely ahead of schedule because of his treatments.

When I came into the office for the first time, with a cane and a pain ridden face that had turned to stone. I looked much older than I was. He took one look at me and thought ā€œHow can I help her she looks like she’s on her last legsā€. Thus started a long road to recovery. What Dr. Russo did not know was that I had broken my back a few years earlier and had already had surgery once. I travelled with a walker in the trunk because I couldn’t walk more than a few steps, and forget standing, longer than 30 seconds and the pain would be off the scales. I used the electric shopping cart every time I went shopping if they had one or took my walker with me. I had used D.O.’s and chiropractors in the past and liked what they did, so, I was not worried about the process. I went 2 times a week and slowly worked my way back to mobility, at the same time I was also in rehab for my balance. The weeks of rehab for balance were cut short when I visited the Dr.’s office, he couldn’t believe how improved I was. I could now walk in a straight line without a cane. I told him what I was doing and he said ā€œkeep it up. I don’t need to see you again, just keep doing what you are doing and all should be well. ā€ One less copay. By this time I had seen Dr. Russo for about 3 months. I had left the cane behind, but the walker was still in use for long hauls. He knew that I was well on the road to mobility when he watched me get out of my car without the use of the cane or other support. We keep up the rehab. Another 3 months go by and slowly my back seems to be getting the message of how it is supposed to work; till one day I left the office with no real SI pain. It took me a couple of hours to realize this. By the next visit, that week, I had been pain free for 3rd day in a row. Then the pain however had migrated to my tush and down my thigh. It felt like my leg was on fire with areas of water. It felt hot, but was not hot to the touch, it also felt like water was running down the leg, but it was not wet. The pain was a beyond any I had felt to date. It was at an 11 or beyond. I was back to the cane and walker again. I used my pain pills once more just to sleep. Dr. Russo wanted another MRI and suggested I consult my neurologist to look at possible back surgery. I had a congenital defect. Where a nerve bundle was supposed to go over or under the muscle it went through; so when that muscle tightened the nerves were stressed and the pane got worse. This was not going to be cured by back manipulation it was surgery or pain. It had now been seven months of work by myself and Dr. Russo by this time, we now had to take another path. I had the surgery, and was now on the road to full recovery. It took a team of surgeons’ 1.5 hours to clean and enlarge where the muscle was connected to the. As the surgeon said he had to remove a lot of diseased tissue and bone, or ā€œgunkā€, as he called it. The next time I saw Dr. Russo I now had a muscle cramp where along the back of the thigh. With laser treatments and stretches it has now cleared and I am PAIN FREE. My twice weekly visits are now as needed. It took about 9 months but we made it, I could now live pain free. Dr. Russo had set out to make me as mobile as he could, I worked with him for over 9 months or so. In that time he went as far as his expertise and wasn’t afraid to admit it. Without his expertise and guidance I wouldn’t be pain free and able to move and walk the way I used to. I can’t thank him enough.
