I cannot explain to you how interrogated I felt at this place. There were two employees standing behind the counter as I walked in. One of them had asked from behind the counter what did I need today. My response was prescription and frames," their response, "the doctor isn't in today." I told them "it's ok I have my prescription already" They in response "may have to check maybe it's expired." I told them it's ok, I have it was done yesterday. They went ahead and told me what the offers were and I said I have a friends and family coupon. They said oh it's probably expired, I said no, it expires 2026. They said let me take a look at it. My response was regardless can I still browse? We can get to the coupon after. Keep in mind this back and forth was from behind the counter with both representative while I was on the other side of the store. At this point in time, I have not even gotten to the second frames case. It was a feeling of interrogation without actual service or help. Being very familiar with Luxottica I know this isn't the standard for customer service and shouldn't be for any of these locations especially when there are so many options around.

Martha was unbelievably helpful and friendly at the same time. Thank you so much for helping me adjust my glasses and take care of my room mate for his new doctors appointment like it was a breeze!

This is the worst LensCrafters location I’ve been to, I told one of the associates that the gosssed I had purchased from them were a little loose and they sometimes fall off my face, she responded in a way that sounded like she was almost offended by what I had just told her, she replied “no glasses will ever fit you perfectly”. Funny enough I went to a different LensCrafters (Pembroke Gardens in Pembroke Pines) and told them the same thing, they gladly helped me out and tried fitting the glasses to my liking with the machines they had there. On another occasion I had visited this sunrise location and told the same useless associate that I had contact lenses that are blurry, she again sounded offended and quickly shut me down saying “you only have 30 days” which was fine because it was only a week since I made the purchase, I told her I only opened one case all the other cases are sealed, she didn’t care she denied the exchange. Now it might be policy so whatever but this lady needs to learn how to be helpful and seem less offended by customers and concerns, customer service here is terrible.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
