  I visited this office in August for my wisdom teeth removal and had mixed feelings about my experience. The staff was kind, but the level of care and attention fell short of my expectations. After the procedure, I woke up from sedation alone and in a panic, which was unsettling. When I called my husband for help, a staff member came to check on me but seemed more concerned about me being on the phone than offering support. The biggest issue was the lack of clear post-op instructions. I didn't receive any guidance beyond the standard paperwork until my post-op appointment a week later, which made managing my recovery more challenging, especially given the long weekend and other complications I was experiencing. It's worth noting that the staff was friendly, but I did notice a difference in attention compared to other patients. Despite this, I'll be okay in the end – after all, I've only got 4 wisdom teeth to worry about! Hopefully, the office can work on improving their post-op care and communication to make the experience smoother for future patients.

  I was very disappointed with our experience with the office in Stuart. My young daughter who is nine needs non-emergency oral surgery. It took us about a month or so to get to have a consultation appointment. We were greeted promptly and checked in when we arrived for our consultation, but then we sat there for an hour and waited. No one spoke to us the entire time we were in the waiting room for that hour. Finally, when I approached the glass divider and inquired about the status of our appointment, the front desk staff explained that the doctor was running late. The fact that it took them an hour to even tell me that the doctor was running late, made me very uncomfortable and was extremely disconcerting. I will be finding another doctor for my daughter.

  Extremely disappointed in the lack of clear direction given to my husband for pickup followed by the total lack of professionalism when they told me, the patient coming out of anesthesia, that my husband was being rude when he asked for clearer instructions on where to pull the car around. Ridiculous.

  Oral Facial Surgical Associates has the most qualified and compassionate doctors around. I have trusted Dr. Strauss to remove my wisdom teeth, and Dr. Kaltman has worked on several of my family members. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and you understand the procedure to be done. They have multiple offices and doctors, so it is easy to be seen immediately if you have an emergency. I would recommend this practice to everyone.
