Experience is hit or miss depending on staff there that day. Waited while my wife went in yesterday
My wife - MA took me back and I told her I have chronic sinus/ear infections and that I had just been into their clinic a month ago for meds and in clinic shots of anbx and steroid and then followed with my primary 2 weeks ago for the same thing. I was never asked what my current meds are or what the most recent anbx was just asked if I wanted an xray (great haven’t been offered that so I accepted) and good with injections (I repeated yes I am I have to get anbx and steroids each time) the NP came in after a bit saying we will do an X-ray and he already sent meds (the encounter confused me since no asked what meds I was just on or what my normal protocol is so I was even more flustered on top of discomfort and pain) checked my ears and throat and told me to follow to X-rays. Came back to the room and told me to hang out for my shot. 20 mins later I go out to ask if I’m suppose to still wait and was told they were mixing the meds now. I verified it’s the anbx and steroid they looked confused even tho I mentioned it twice at least saying that’s my normal protocol since I’m a chronic case. 10 mins pass again I go out again and am told I need to wait they have other pts (which obviously but you care for the ones you have back first and not to mention no one had been brought back until around the time I went out at the first 20 min mark minus 1 pt that had already been in and out but left very quickly…you can hear everything in the halls) I reminded I know they do but I’ve been waiting for the shot for at least 30 mins at this point. And was told “well you only just told us you wanted the anbx” I said anbx and steroid they said “it’s mixing now” I said how much longer because it’s been 30 mins now and I have to go. You could tell the irritation and annoyance. I did get my shots after waiting a bit more but over an hour of mostly waiting by myself and no one really communicating well it was very frustrating.

I strongly advise parents of neurodivergent children to avoid the provider Christopher Lippincott, APN. During an ear exam, he was rough enough to make my autistic son bleed. When I pointed out the blood, his only response was, 'That’s weird, he wasn’t bleeding before.' There was no apology, no concern for my son’s distress, and no explanation for how the injury happened. Only after I suggested he had scratched the inside of his ear did he admit to it—again, with no remorse.
He has zero bedside manner and failed to speak to my son like a person or explain the procedure. This lack of basic empathy and professional accountability is dangerous. I often visit this location (Starke) with my other three children, and all of the other providers are amazing. However, this particular individual consistently models this type of behavior. I am not someone who typically writes reviews, but the entire interaction was so unsettling that I felt I must warn others for my own peace of mind

The staff acted very annoyed that we were there. Never laid a finger on my child to do a proper exam and sent us out of there without any kind of care.

I walked in to get seen for a sore throat, the waiting room was empty. After checking in on a kiosk because there’s nobody there to greet you just instructions on how to use the kiosk, I sat in the waiting room over 30 minutes before getting put in an exam room. My first ick was the financial policy, pay your copay with a card that they’ll save in their system, or pay double what your copay is if you elect to pay cash instead of card. I begrudgingly used my card and very specifically stated I do not want my card information saved but the young lady working me up didn’t have any idea how to stop that. The provider finally came in, said open wide and say AAAHHH, and says ok I’m gonna put you on a very strong antibiotic for 2 weeks. No strep test, no Covid test, no flu test, nothing. Just says I’ll send that to the pharmacy and walks out. I get it’s an urgent care but there should have been some kind of diagnostics done before just prescribing two weeks of a powerful prescription.
I had a great experience at Main Street Urgent Care in Starke. I was seen by Brandy (MA) and Jessica (provider), and they were both wonderful. The service was fast, respectful, and very professional. They made me feel comfortable and took great care of me. Excellent service all around—highly recommend!
