  I have been working with Dr. Vanessa Disla for what is almost going to be a year soon. Dr. Disla is highly efficient, professional and very knowledgeable. She is the main reason why I am a patient of Comprehensive Med Psych. I am very happy and she has been extremely helpful!

  Contrary to all the other reviews here...we have had a wonderful experience with Comprehensive Med Psych in St Pete. My son is 11, almost 12 and he struggles with ADHD. Dr Disla is absolutely the BEST. She is very in tune with him, he loves talking to her (which is crazy because he does not like talking to many people), and she is very empathetic to him and how he is feeling. She takes the time that he needs, and will even talk to me if I call and leave a message or need something ASAP. She calls in between appts. Our first in person appt she actually explained to my son what ADHD was in a way that he could understand. She is so wonderful, I highly recommend! John Whitaker is ALSO wonderful. He was my sons therapist until we switched him to an IOP recently. He was very caring and in tune with my son as well. I know reviews can definitely sway your decision, but if you need a Psychiatrist, I highly recommend Dr Disla.

  Very rude! Spoke with someone named “Doriana” (spelling?) She hung up in my face mid-conversation after having a very excited and rude attitude towards me. I was calling in regard to a $100 late fee they were charging me for an appointment my DOCTOR RESCHEDULED. I know customer service can be tough, but she was not giving me the respect of a customer. I do not understand what her problem was with me, this was my first time speaking with her. The phone call hardly lasted 5 minutes. I started with “can you help me, I received a late fee and I don’t know why” She then put me on hold and came back with “the late fee is valid she already told you that” (she was literally yelling) Then hung up before I could respond. Very unnecessary and rude. After several issues with their office I am looking for a new doctor. Do not go here. If you are looking to alleviate your mental health, this place will only make it worse.
