I came in because I had an ongoing UTI (day 13) and the symptoms and infection were not resolved with a round of antibiotics completed 8 days prior. Symptoms worsened to including blood in my urine, which was why I went to the Urgent Care. The entire staff was kind and helpful, however there were a few questionable practices I don't agree with.
My temperature was recorded in the papers I received after the visit, however had not been taken by the assistant. If I had had a high temperature, it could have signified a kidney infection and immediate treatment, possibly a trip to the hospital.
When I paid, I received a receipt for the total amount, and when I asked for an itemized invoice with billing codes, I was told it wasn't available from the clinic, the billing office would email it to me. They never did. I called the Urgent Care to ask for an invoice with billing codes so I could file a claim with insurance, the receptionist told me I should have gotten that from the clinic before I left and I replied that I had asked for it twice and was told it wasn't available from the clinic. She was nice and sent me an email with the requested documents immediately. They didn't include prices related to the codes, so I needed to call the billing office anyway to get that.
The urine culture from the lab returned completely negative for bacteria. Very unusual considering the urine was cloudy and symptoms were severe enough to include blood in the urine and it was day 13 from the first symptoms. The practitioner even commented that she was surprised that the urine had so much bacteria in it still. I called the Urgent care to discuss the unusual results and the lady who answered was not patient or helpful and told me the lab results were negative, did not question the strangeness of the results, did not explain why the urine could be cloudy but bacteria negative, and said I must have caught the UTI early. She said I should continue the antibiotics that I was prescribed anyway. (Which should not work on an infection that is not from bacteria as the lab result indicated.)
I called again 2 days later to try to connect with the practitioner who had seen me, she was not available, the other practitioner was busy, so I played phone tag until I finally reached a practitioner. While I was calling and trying to reach a practitioner, I did not like that they wanted me to pay for another in-person visit just to discuss my lab results with the practitioner. I refused, explaining that I already paid for the consult and tests- discussing the results should be included as part of the treatment. The practitioner herself also did not question the strange negative lab results, encouraged me to finish the antibiotics, and said if I still had symptoms at the end to schedule another appointment in person (an additional $100), to do more tests.
In summary, all of the staff was friendly and helpful except for the first one who answered the phone, however, I don't trust the reasoning and lab results or explanation.

Paid $150 to see a doctor for a bad cold that was lasting long. Didnt help me. Came back 3 days later, paid another $150 for a follow up. Prescribed me an antibiotic i was allergic to, called them to switch it out for me, they said i’d have to make a new appointment and pay $150 again to see a doctor. Never going here again. Completely unhelpful and unreasonable.

I was able to make an online appt. And be there within an hour. The desk attendant was extremely courteous and quiet when discussing my insurance. She also lent me a charger for my phone. The and doctor were professional, kind and service was quick. I was in and out again with a prescription to be filled in about an hour. Very happy as at the Dr. is not how I wanted to spend the first day of my vacation.
Yesterday was my first visit to this provider and was quite a pleasant experience. The woman who answered the telephone when I first called could use a lesson in client service and pleasantry. Other than that, my experience was positive. I was able to make an appointment online, very quickly. The check in process was quick and painless (I filled out much of it, online, in advance) and the wait time at the clinic was minimal. The medical assistant who first med with me and performed my EKG was polite, friendly, and patient-centric. The provider, with whom I spoke after, was the same. I received empathy from her, as well as a clear diagnosis. I received discharge paperwork, electronically, shortly after my visit.
I will definitely use this urgent care center for any last-minute medical needs, in the future.

I made an appointment and thought they could take care of something for me mind you I have no insurance so I paid all out of pocket. After I was called to the back and found out, they couldn’t do for me what I needed done. I told the doctor that I wouldn’t waste her time and I would just go down to the health department. She told me that since she didn’t do anything for me she would refund me my money which I didn’t even expect. About a week later and I never got my money back so I called the office and the manger of the building answered she was pretty rude and said she never heard about that and she was the manger and then said that there was an issue on my end because they sent it back and I need to call my bank So when I called my bank, they said that what was in my account was including all pending transactions meaning they’ve never sent me my money back and the office MANGAR swears they did was very short with me over the phone just not nice at all and didn’t help me pretty ghetto Urgent care anyways we’ll never go back. Thanks.
