  I was referred to AIM by my chiropractor for PRP treatment and underwent a series of 3 injections in my hip. They were costly but I was hopeful they would relieve my pain. Unfortunately they didn’t help which I knew was a possibility. However, it wasn’t until I went to my orthopedic doctor and learned that these injections should have been done under ultrasound guidance to ensure proper placement, which did not happen. It’s one thing if the injections were done correctly and didn’t work, but another if they were done incorrectly. I’ve since learned that the NP who performed my injections was fired for not doing things right! I trusted that I was getting the right treatment, but finding out it wasn’t done properly is frustrating, especially given the cost. I hope AIM takes a closer look at how these procedures are performed so other patients don’t go through the same thing.

  Jessica (ARNP) and Caitlyn (office/MA) provide a very welcoming environment, allowing myself to feel at ease sharing all my medical concerns. I was originally referred by Family Wellness Chiropractic Care for trigger point injections, which did help in elevating pain in muscles each time long enough to actually stretch them out without pain. It was a good addition to my chiropractic plan. Through these few visits I became very comfortable with Jessica and opened up about other needs. Aging, everyone does it, but some of us (me) are not always comfortable discussing some changes as result. She understood, got bloodwork. The results provided her the information to come up with the hormones and vitamins I was lacking, some more severe than others. A week later I returned to be "pelleted". It wasn't like some kind of instant result, in fact after 5 days I completely forgot about it. As of a couple of days ago, I feel like the person I lost 4 years ago. My energy, my sleep, my habits, my desires, mental clarity, even depression. All of that, which my neurologist of 30yrs, primary care, just had me feeling as though it was just aging and disease progression (M.S. 30yrs +). Isn't that depressing. I can't thank Jessica enough for this, and will continue to see her. I even have my adult daughter who has fought with doctors for years now, feeling very unheard, ready to see her. I am confident that Jessica and Caitlyn will provide her with comfort, attention, understanding and answers. I can't wait for that. Super excited mom here.
