  They need a better communication and attitude with the customer and pickup time vs texts sent to pickup and Optical time.

  Doctor and his assistants are great. HOWEVER, front office lacks customer service. No greeting, no eye contact, they sit and have conversations with each other before assisting or acknowledging customers, and some how also think taking a “quick” walk in customer is okay though there have been other customers waiting. Also, they keep upselling everything instead of giving you a lower cost option like the Target brand lenses. I asked for basic and no add on, yet they kept giving me costs that included other add ons (anti glare, blue light, ect) not requested. It’s happened multiple times, so they must get some type of commission

  Jennifer did a great job getting my glasses fitted and ordered. Dr. Watson is probably the best optometrist I’ve ever seen(he always seems to get the prescription dialed in perfectly). Another home run for target optical in Sanford.

  The staff is very attentive and let's you know what is coming up next ie: paperwork, exam, choosing frames, etc. The day of my appt was very busy with a bit of a wait time, but after seeing Dr Watson, I understand why. He is very thorough and doesn't rush you in and out. He listens, asks questions and is very knowledgeable in his field. My husband and I both drive from Deland to come here.

  had one of the most frustrating and disappointing customer service experiences I’ve ever had at this Target Optical location in Sanford, FL. To be clear: the doctor and the doctor’s assistant were excellent. They were professional, kind, and efficient. Unfortunately, everything fell apart the moment I left the exam room. When I came out to select glasses, there were two associates working the front. One was finishing up with a customer, and the other was sitting at a computer. I walked around, selected the glasses I intended to purchase, and waited. After the associate finished with her customer, I was still not acknowledged . No greeting, no “we’ll be right with you,” nothing. I then sat down in the front waiting area. For 13 full minutes, I sat there while the two associates and the doctor’s assistant stood around talking about insurance company names and unrelated matters, all while completely ignoring me. No eye contact. No acknowledgment. No sense of urgency or basic customer courtesy. After 13 minutes of being ignored, I got up, put the glasses back, and walked out of the store. Once I was outside, I turned around fully expecting someone to at least ask why I was leaving. No one looked at me. No one spoke to me. Nothing. I have been a loyal customer at this specific location for many years and have purchased multiple pairs of glasses here not only for myself, but also for my husband, my daughter, and my son. That loyalty clearly meant nothing. Customer service like this is unacceptable. I will never return to this location, and I would strongly caution others to reconsider if they expect to be treated with basic respect and acknowledgment.
