🚨UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW 🚨: After this office released my child from care based on a 1 star google review and refused documentation needed by the scholarship program AND being told by Jennifer that my child would not qualify for the scholarship program, I sought a new pediatrician who GLADLY completed the required form, Same day (without a $50 fee) and after submitting it, I received notification today my child was found ELIGIBLE for the scholarship that Jenn insisted he didn't qualify for. Therefore the 'ETHICAL' thing to do going forward is focus on improving your OWN FLAWED office policies and procedures because you obviously are giving out UNSOLICITED MISINFORMATION!

I contacted this office to request a physician signature on a form required for my son’s speech therapy scholarship (Step Up for Students). This request was based on guidance from both the program and his licensed speech therapist. Instead of simply submitting the request to the physician, the office manager, Jennifer, was surprisingly argumentative, questioned the validity of the information I was given, and incorrectly advised that my child would not qualify. When I asked how she knew this and if she worked for Step Up, she responded, “No, but I know because my kids have Step Up,” which had nothing to do with me, my child, or the form I requested. She then stated that Dr. Thole would not just sign the form, but that she would create her own note ($50 fee) After hearing this interaction and how rude Jennifer was, my husband left a one-star Google review. Shortly thereafter, I received written notice that my child was being dismissed from the practice effective immediately, specifically citing the review as the reason, and that the office would no longer provide forms or documentation. While they later stated they would provide 30 days of sick care, this initial response raised serious concerns about professionalism and whether patient care decisions were being influenced by online reviews. I also want to note a separate concern regarding billing. On more than one occasion, I was told I owed an additional copay balance that I had already paid in full. Each time, the issue was only resolved after I provided my receipt or proof of payment. I strongly encourage other parents to request and keep copies of payment receipts for their records. Additionally, Dr. Thole is rarely in the office, which can create delays in care for anything requiring an actual M.D. Based on my personal experience, children may require multiple visits before receiving prescriptions or medically necessary interventions. Parents should be aware that requesting routine documentation or advocating for your child’s care may be met with resistance, delays, or retaliatory actions. Always keep records of payments and communications, and verify that forms and medical documents are completed promptly. Choosing a pediatric practice where your child’s care and advocacy are respected is essential and this is not it. Thankfully I had already began seeking a new pediatrician after the second billing issue because obviously they have no problem with abandonment of their pediatric patients and no regard for continuity of care if they get a 1 star Google review as a direct result of their lack of professionalism. Edited to address your response: My review reflects my direct experience as a parent and is supported by documented communication, including written emails from your office. To clarify, my concern is not about “education” or “guidelines,” but about how this situation was handled. I requested a physician signature on a form as instructed by both the Step Up for Students program and my son’s licensed speech therapist. Instead of simply submitting that request, I was given conflicting information and discouraged from proceeding. Following that interaction, I received written notice from your office dismissing my child from care and refusing to provide documentation, explicitly referencing a one-star review. Regarding online reviews, it doesn’t change the facts of what occurred or the numerous 1 star reviews prior to mine. Additionally, my concern regarding repeated billing discrepancies was not addressed. I have since ensured my child’s care is continued elsewhere received the necessary documentation at NO added cost and I have taken formal steps to address the situation, including filing a grievance with our insurance provider and submitting a complaint to the appropriate state licensing authorities. I encourage other parents who may have experienced similar issues to understand that you do have options to advocate for your child’s care and rights. Based on the numerous 1 star reviews this is a pattern of this establishment.

Highly Recommend Kassidy Boliek from Wee care for kids ! She awesome! Office staff are nice ! They do have a very strict no call no show policy. However, they always have a reminder CALL ahead of time. So typically you have PLENTY of time to call ahead and cancel! This office always has same day sick appt. Best part they are open EARLY!

Great clinic, love their policies. Easy to schedule with. Works with you, doesn't impose care upon you.

We absolutely love this pediatrician’s office. Our nurse practitioner, Kassidy, is truly the best! She’s so sweet, patient, and takes her time with us at every visit. You can tell she genuinely cares. One thing I really appreciate about this office is how organized they are. If my appointment is at 9:00 AM, I’m being seen at 9:00 AM. No long waits, no sitting around with a baby forever, it’s honestly such a relief. They’re also super understanding when it comes to insurance delays and billing. They’ve never made us feel stressed or rushed about anything like that. Everyone we’ve interacted with has been kind and helpful, so I genuinely don’t understand the bad reviews. Our experience has been nothing but positive, and we’re really grateful for how well they’ve taken care of our baby. Highly recommend!
