I would like to understand the purpose of offering a Target Optical online option for purchasing glasses if in-person Target Optical locations are unwilling to assist patients with basic measurements needed to complete an online order. I visited this location in person specifically to request a pupillary height measurement, which is necessary to ensure accurate information when ordering glasses online. This was a simple and reasonable request, yet the staff refused to assist me. Not only was my request denied, but the staff were also unprofessional and rude throughout the interaction. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have had a negative experience at this location. On a previous visit, I went in person solely to try on frames I was considering purchasing online, and I encountered similar unhelpful behavior. I find it disappointing that a Target Optical location would refuse to support patients using the company’s own online services, especially when the assistance requested is minimal and directly related to patient care and satisfaction.
