They are the single redeeming factor in what was otherwise an abhorrently filthy experience. The center itself is simply disgusting. The level of dirt and grime is profoundly unsettling. In a medical environment—a place where sterility and cleanliness should be the top priority—this is a serious and immediate safety concern. I was completely uncomfortable and did not feel safe donating in such a visibly unsanitary place. In addition to the squalor, the screening process appears arbitrary and biased. It feels like the decision on whether you are eligible to donate depends less on established medical protocol and more on the individual nurse's mood and personal feelings that day. It seems like they can simply make up their own random Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on the spot, leading to an inconsistent and frustrating experience. While I appreciate the kindness of a few staff members, it absolutely cannot outweigh the profound lack of cleanliness and the questionable, inconsistent screening process. I would not recommend donating here until they undergo a complete and serious overhaul of their hygiene and procedural standards.
