  Great staff! Very knowledgeable, they were helpful in every way and extremely friendly. The optometrist assistant was a delight, she made me laugh and feel at ease during my appointment. The guys working in the front were a hoot and helped me pick out a perfect pair of glasses without feeling rushed. Top notch customer service!

  Absolutely the best eye care I have ever received!!!! I’m 57 years old and have had trouble with my contacts not being able to read without a pair of readers as well. 1 visit and I don’t need readers! The contacts are perfect As far as the staff hands down the best experience I have ever had!!!! Highly recommended 👍

  From start to finish, each associate I interacted with was professional, attentive, and provided exceptional service. The technical, whose name I failed to get, did the initial tests, listened to my current issues, and assured me they would help solve my problems. The doctor took the time to listen to my eye issues and my desire to go back to contacts and only use my glasses as a backup. She did a thorough examination and fitted me with contacts on the spot. She made sure I could see clearly given my occupation. Richard Harris is the associate who helped coordinate my insurance benefits, pick out new frames, and finalize my visit. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable in helping me use my insurance for maximum coverage. Without hesitation, I would recommend this business for all one’s eye care needs.

  The people here are amazing. Kind, professional, friendly, and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about the staff at this location. I liked that they sanitized everything on their equipment to keep things safe for me. Here are a couple things that they could do better. I sat in the waiting room 45 minutes before going back and that part is frustrating. I run my own business and I know how valuable time is. I would’ve appreciated a phone call to let me know that they were running so far behind to adjust my arrival. The second is not having contact lens fit kit for the lens that the doctor prescribed. As a consumer, I’m ordering close to $1000 of contact lenses not knowing if they’re going to be comfortable or work for me. Get some trial lenses in prescribed multi focal.

  Edit below I want to start by saying that everyone at the Panama City Beach Pearle Vision location was friendly, professional, and did their jobs well. The staff and doctor were great, and none of my frustration is directed at them personally. My issue began after I returned home and had time to look over my bill. The Oakley frames I selected were priced at $399.99 in the store. I’ve worn Oakley frames for decades and know they can be pricey, but when I checked Oakley’s own website, the MSRP for these exact frames is $255. Pearle Vision is charging $144 over MSRP—a 56.5% markup, which is excessive considering MSRP already includes a profit margin. What makes this worse is that even with my insurance, the overcharge was so high that it still would have been cheaper to buy the frames directly from Oakley, even without using my frame allowance. Pearle Vision’s markup exceeded the entire amount my insurance covers for frames. The total for my glasses was $1,489.92, and even with insurance absorbing a large portion, my out-of-pocket was $654.34. I had paid roughly $325 upfront as a deposit when I ordered them. When I discovered the extreme markup and called Thursday morning (two days after my appointment) to cancel the eyeglass order, I was told that I could not cancel it, which was extremely disappointing. On top of that, I later noticed a $39.95 one-year protection plan added to my bill that I was never asked about. I’ve worn glasses for 40 years and have never broken a pair—had I been given the choice, I would have declined this. Once again, the local staff were excellent. My issue is with the corporate pricing practices, which feel unfair and predatory. Marking up frames more than 56% above MSRP—so much that buying directly from the manufacturer would be cheaper even after insurance—is unacceptable. I’m still waiting to hear from the regional manager and will update this review if the situation changes, but as of now, my experience with Pearle Vision’s pricing has been very disappointing. *Edit* I have spoken to the regional manager. He assured me that this will be rectified. I will update with the final outcome once it is settled.
