I’ve been a patient at this practice for a couple of years and today was my last straw. It took the doctor over an hour and a half from my appointment time to see me. I had to give a urine sample and when I went to wash my hands, the soap provided was a near empty bottle that someone had added water to it. I find this very unprofessional and unsanitary. For the amount that they are charging my insurance and charging me for my copay, it should be a much better experience. I will not be back.

I had an excellent experience at Palm Beach Urology. From the moment I walked in, the staff was professional, friendly, and very welcoming. The doctor was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly, making me feel comfortable and confident about my care. The office was clean, organized, and well managed. I truly appreciate the level of attention and professionalism. I highly recommend Palm Beach Urology to anyone looking for quality urology care.

DO NOT. The waits are crazy and the staff is unpleasant, but the main concern is the fact that Dr. Rafael Lopez is a manipulative doctor who uses scare tactics to force patients to undergo unnecessary medical tests and procedures. If you want a breakdown of what I experienced, read on, otherwise, trust me when I say you need to look for a different doctor.
I waited a few months to get an appointment to be seen by Dr. Lopez for bladder issues as a result of iron depletion. Dr. Lopez was rude, short, and after only a few minutes of a consultation he insisted I speak to the front desk to schedule some testing that he did not bother to explain even though I asked and later found out he was not thorough in his explanation and did not disclose the invasiveness. I was then given a print out of the visit and it mentioned a lot of things that he didnt go over, but were listed as items that he went over. I also saw on my medical notes that the incompetent nurse listed "no" or "n/a" for my medical conditions and allergies even though I explicitly mentioned them more than once.
Fast forward, I called the office to cancel future appointments in December 2025, and found a different doctor, did testing with them and got my diagnosis/treatment. Since then, Dr. Rafael Lopez has been harassing me with calls and now a letter that is very aggressive and heavily uses scare tactics to make me return to his office.
