  I wanted to self pay because my insurance sucks. They quoted $187 with self pay but since I had insurance said I HAD to use it and it would be $387. What bullshit that you cant pay how you want and the insurance that I pay for would cost me more than without. What help they were and Im still sick. Won't go there again!!

  My boyfriend came here for treatment three times in the course of a month and every time was a thorough, thoughtful and gentle approach. Although suffering from a mental health condition, each physician, nurse took the time to validate, treat and helped tremendously after a hospital didn’t even X-Ray or treat obvious wounds. I would drive out of my way to come here instead of somewhere under the Baycare or HCA Umbrella. Jodi Coffee PA specially deserves an Honorable mention for not only medical knowledge, but emotional support for both the patient and family. I can’t say enough, or thank the staff for treating him with such care during such a difficult time.

  Today was my third visit to StatMed & I have been impressed each time. The facilities are pristine & pleasant. The front desk people are very helpful & friendly. Even calling on the phone I felt cared for. I saw a P.A. each time. The first one instantly understood my complaint & gave me a couple choices as to how to proceed, giving me the pro's & con's of each. The second time I went in for a splinter that was too tiny for me to see to remove it. When they took my vitals, they discovered that my heartrate was very low. The PA, Jodie suggested an adjustment to my med's, & of course, instructed me to contact my cardiologist. She was 100% correct & her advice was duplicated by my cardio office. I went back to her, Jodie, for a follow-up. She had more suggestions which I will follow. The attribute I consider most important in a medical practitioner is the ability to listen. Second in importance is the ability to perceive that I am an intelligent person. So, Jodie listened carefully & respectfully to my thoughts on my med's & together (underlined) we worked out what would be the best course moving forward. I'm sure I don't need to tell you how rare an experience this is! I wish that I could give them more than 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Jodi and her whole staff is amazing and very helpful here. I truly appreciate u guys. Thank you so much. I highly recommend this urgent care place.

  The staff at Stat Med Clearwater is amazing! Always greeted warmly! The staff of NPS and doctors always take time to lesson to ur concerns. More importantly; they take the time to explain in laymen’s terms so it’s easy to understand! They also r open to questions! Highly recommend Stat Med!
