  I’ve been a loyal customer here for years, but unfortunately, my recent experience left me very disappointed. An error was made in measuring my glasses and determining my prescription, and instead of taking responsibility, the office put me in a very difficult position. I was told my only options were to return the new glasses I’d already worn for two weeks and go back to my old, damaged pair, or keep what I had even though the mistake wasn’t mine. I offered a fair solution — to pay for new lenses out of pocket and be refunded once they arrived, since the issue originated in their office. They agreed and processed my payment, but once the corrected lenses came in, they changed their position and refused to refund me, blaming insurance instead and their policies that wont let them refund me. To make matters worse, they billed my insurance again for the corrected lenses rather than absorbing the cost of their own mistake. When I tried to resolve it with the manager, I was met with indifference and only offered a small discount. It’s disappointing that after years of loyalty, something as simple as doing the right thing over $125 cost them not just my business, but my wife’s as well. I truly hope they learn from this and treat future customers with more honesty and accountability. To this day the manager never called me as promised...

  My favorite glasses I purchased from Vision Source were in need of repair. I brought them in and was very pleasantly surprised. Although the lobby was packed, tech Rob saw me within a few minutes, whisked away my Oakleys, and less than ten minutes later came back with them repaired, the frame tightened, and looking brand new. I did not expect such good service on the spot without an appointment. Thank you!

  I gave Vision Source in Oviedo a try for my latest pair of glasses, and unfortunately, it was a frustrating experience from start to finish. Every visit took an unusually long time, and despite multiple attempts, they never got my glasses to fit correctly. To start, I wasn’t advised that the frames I picked would make my lenses extremely thick, and the staff didn’t offer any lens upgrade options until my second visit—so I had to pay extra for features that should’ve been discussed upfront. After changing frames and upgrading my lenses, I expected better, but the issues continued. The glasses came in, didn’t fit properly, and caused headaches. I had to return several times for adjustments—four visits total—before anyone made any improvement, and even then, they still weren’t right. By that point, I had moved 30 minutes away and couldn’t keep going back. Eventually, I took the glasses to my previous optical store, and they were able to fix the fit on the first try. That’s where I’ll be returning in the future. Overall, Vision Source was not accommodating, not upfront about costs, and never once apologized for the repeated inconvenience. I saw different staff each time, including the manager, who tried to help but just couldn’t get it right. After so much wasted time and money, I cannot recommend this location and won’t be returning.

  Had a wonderful experience a couple months ago. Coming from Target Optical, I didn’t realize how much a contrast going to a professional, dedicated establishment would be. I can’t recall the name of the optometrist but she was incredibly thorough. Found a minor defect in my macula that required monitoring but was consistently missed elsewhere. Moreover, I had a difficult work schedule that required travel and the staff were more than accommodating. Found time to squeeze me in on short notice - more than once. One gentleman extended his day to accommodate me for a fitting. I couldn’t be more appreciative of their staffs willingness to go the extra mile, even when it made their job more difficult or the competency of their optometrists.
