The appointment reminder email they send out lists the address as 2863 Delaney Ave.** The practice itself is great. Clean, well-lit waiting room and professional staff. Dr. Waldman is outstanding! The nicest doctor I have ever met. I was referred by my PCP after abnormal test results. Dr. Waldman reassured me and explained the findings simply. Medical assistants Genesis and Erica were very nice. I highly recommend this practice.

What are the symptoms of a heart attack?

Peripheral vascular conditions affect blood vessels outside the heart and brain, such as peripheral artery disease, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), and pelvic congestive syndrome. These conditions can cause pain, swelling, and poor circulation. At SWCVA, we diagnose and treat these issues to improve your quality of life.
Do I need an appointment or a referral for an Immediate Heart Care visit?
We do accept walk-in patients for immediate cardiovascular care during our operating hours. However, calling for a same-day appointment and completing our online check-in prior to the visit is advised and will expedite your visit. Some insurance plans may require a referral from your primary physician.
What can I expect during the visit?
"After checking in, you will be promptly escorted to a room by a team member. We will obtain vital signs, record an EKG, and ask initial questions. You will be evaluated and treated by our highly trained Advanced Practice Providers and one of our Cardiologists.
We may advise specialized testing such as blood tests, ultrasound, rhythm monitor, CT scan, or stress test as needed. Almost all testing can be completed in our offices and on the same day if needed. Depending on the results, we may advise medications or treatments. By timely diagnosis and outpatient treatment, you may avoid hospital admission or worsening of your condition.
We will share the results as well as the treatment plan with your Primary Care Provider and medical team to provide you with the best treatment."
What should I bring with me to my Immediate Heart Care visit?
Please bring your insurance card, a list of your current medications, and any relevant medical records.
How much will a visit cost?
The cost will depend on your insurance coverage and the services provided. Generally, an Immediate Heart Care visit is significantly less expensive than an ER visit.
Can your Immediate Heart Care clinics provide surgical clearance?
Yes, our clinics can provide immediate surgical clearance for patients with cardiovascular problems, abnormal preoperative ECGs, or if advised by their physicians. We will work with you and your primary care provider, as well as the surgical team, to coordinate care and testing to minimize the need to cancel or delay surgery.
