PPEC stands for Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care. Learning Tree PPEC is a licensed, non-residential, day treatment program prescribed by a physician for medically complex and technologically dependent children. Learning Tree PPEC provides care for children who are diagnosed with a medical condition such as Asthma, Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Epilepsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Epilepsy, among others. When a child is diagnosed with a specific condition and is approved by Medicaid, they can attend a PPEC up to twelve hours per
day, six days per week.
