- SDSamantha DunnettNov 18, 20255.0Dr. Losada is fantastic! My 6 year old had her vision screening done at school and was referred for further testing. I was able to call and immediately got an appointment for the following day which I was so grateful for because I was nervous about it. Well, a few minutes into the exam we could tell my daughter was lying through her teeth about what she saw on the projector and just spouting out random letters. It was difficult to get her to cooperate, but Dr. Losada kept at it and was finally able to conduct a proper exam. I am very grateful for her patience with my daughter. Fortunately, my daughter won't be needing any follow up visits but I'll plan on switching to her for my own eye care.

IF THEY SEND YOUR EXISTING FRAMES OUT TO HAVE A LENS REPLACED BY THE LAB THEY USE AND YOUR FRAMES ARE STRETCHED OUT AND NO LONGER FIT, YOU WILL BE OFFERED FOR THE ALEX (THE SON) TO HEAT THEM UP CONTINOUSLY AND TRY TO MOLD THE FRAME BACK TO FIT YOUR FACE. AFTER 3 TRIPS BACK TO THE OFFICE WITH THE SAME GUCCI FRAMES, THE FRAMES STILL DONT FIT AND MS. LOSADA AND ALEX SAYS THE LAB DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND NEITHER DO THEY. SO NOW I HAVE A $400 PLUS FRAME I CAN NO LONGER USE. I HAVE MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO GET MS LOSADO AND ALEX TO MAKE THIS RIGHT AND NO SUCCESS. ALEX CAME UP WITH EVERY EXCUSE FOR HIS MOMS PRACTICE ( DR LOSADO) TO NOT TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY. THEY HAD NO PROBLEMS RECEIVING PAYMENTS FROM MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND MONEY OUT OF MY POCKET. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT UNFORGIVING PRACTICE AGAIN NOR WILL RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THEM. I WOULD HATE FOR ANYONE TO HAVE TO THROW AWAY AN EXPENSIVE GUCCI FRAME AS I WILL HAVE TO IN THE END SINCE I CANT USE IT. AND I WONT REFER TO HER AS A DOCTOR BECAUSE TRUE DOCTORS ENSURE THEIR PATIENTS ARE HAPPY. THESE FOLKS DID NOT. THE BLAME IS SHIFTED TO THE LAB. AND THAT TO ME MEANT MY NEEDS WERE NOT IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO MAKE RIGHT. THIS IS MY OPINION AND IM ALLOWED SHARE MY OPINION AND SHARE MY EXPERIENCE... IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. NOT JUST BECAUSE THEY DID NOTHING TO MAKE THIS SITUATION RIGHT BY REPLACING MY FRAMES, BUT BECAUSE THEY JUST DIDNT CARE AND IT SHOWED.
