I had gone to this store before and had a horrible experience. I decided to give it another try, an the rep that assisted me this time (KIMBERLY) was beyond amazing, she went above and beyond to assist and answer all my questions. She is the type of employee others should strive to be!!!!

They have real rookies in sales rep who doesn’t know what the do and try to confuse the customer. I asked the young girl who helped me if my current glass has the same power as my doctor prescribed and she kept on saying the same thing that she can’t see it even she checked the glass on the machine. I would suggest to consult someone with experience and better customer service.

I visited my local LensCrafters, where I’ve gone for eye exams for some time, to purchase new contact lenses after my last pair ran out. The signage at the entrance clearly states that contact lenses are available, but when I asked the receptionist, I was told they do not stock any and would need to order them. No effort was made to check availability or confirm whether any were in-store, which was disappointing given the expectation set by their posted signage. Based on this experience and the lack of customer assistance, I will likely seek eye exams and contact lenses elsewhere moving forward.

After 20 years of great experiences at this location, things have changed. First, no one EVER answers the phone during business hours. I tried to make an appointment using the website, but was unsuccessful. After multiple attempts, I called the 800 number and was able to schedule an appointment. Then, less than 24 hours prior to my appointment, they called to let me know that they no longer accept one of the largest insurance carriers in Florida. Overall, my recent experience has been very disappointing. I won't be back.

Maggie Toth is a great optometrist. The gentleman, Nehru who helped us find frames was amazing. He was so patient and kind with us and worked with us after all the decision making. Love him!

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
