Dr. Sawh is very professional and friendly, and he explains procedures in simple terms. However, the consultant assigned to handle the lens selection and payment process was very erratic. Right from the start, she informed me that my insurance coverage could not be found in the system. She was never going to find it, given that she was entering my surnames in the wrong order and my first name incompletely. She then told me that my insurance would not cover the lenses, only for me to later discover that it actually covered $120.00. It was an unnecessarily stressful situation. When I asked for my pupillary distance measurements, she stated that this information is proprietary to the clinic and could not be provided to me because it is not considered part of the standard eye exam. I find this to be an incomplete process; if I wish to purchase lenses from another clinic or online, this policy makes doing so impossible. I was not satisfied; I do not recommend them, nor would I use their services again.

Very professional and thorough. It was my first time with contacts and they were so helpful with the process.
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What is involved in an eye exam?
An eye exam involves a series of simple but comprehensive tests that allow your optometrist to assess your vision and your eye health. Your optometrist will discuss the results of your eye exam with you and determine the right prescription to help you to see your best.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
