Initial perception not great. No one seemed pleasant when we checked in and none of the staff greeted us when led back to the dimly lit waiting area. First time for us and my husband was a little anxious not knowing what to expect with his eye surgical procedure. Had to wait about 45 mins. bu understood once it was explained why. Would have helped calm the impatience if one of the staff spoke to us while waiting. Once we met Dr. Jochum and Wren, everything changed. They were personal, very thorough and proceeded with the procedure expertly.
The Florida Eye Clinic is first rate. The office staff was friendly, welcoming, and very professional from the moment I arrived. Dr. Jochum was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and took the time to answer all my questions completely. I had the cataracts in both eyes taken care of and could not be happier with the results. I highly recommend them.

I arrived on time for my appointment. The receiving desk clerk was polite and pleasant. The first assistant/a male was unnecessarily loud but also polite. Dr. Jochum was also a polite man. He examined me and explained the procedure that would be necessary to address my issue. He answered the questions I asked and invited me to call the office if I chose to proceed with surgery. The office attendants are generally polite. However, everyone is loud. Every detail of every conversation with patients can be heard by everyone sitting in the waiting area. It made me wonder about the HIPPA rule concerning privacy.

I moved from PA to FL a yr and a half ago. I saw a couple floaters in my left eye and lightning flashes. I called and they got me in right away. Upon going into office I saw many people waiting which concerned me. The office is VERY well equipped and fully staffed to accommodate people. I filled out my paperwork and before even being done they were ready for me. The assistant took the time to go over ALL my history and enter it into the system. Then I waited for the Dr which was less than a 2 mins wait. Dr Grubbs listened to my concerns and even explained everything as he went along. He took the time to explain what happens to our eyes as we age and what to look for. I felt very comfortable and was relieved to hear he didn't see any issues to be concerned. A follow up would be needed in a month just in case. Even though this office isn’t in my neighborhood I would definitely go back. The whole staff was friendly and didn’t make me feel like a number. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I called 3 times to schedule a new appointment for my children. If they take a noon break, that's understandable, but not mentioned. After selecting the location, I was forwarded to a ringing line that stopped and started playing music. I waited 7 min the first time. Same thing happened. I have been looking for a quality vision center for my kids, and it's impossible in Florida. I was hoping this was the company and location, considering the reviews for the other locations. Every place either has fake reviews, or low ones. & it's never the doctor's, just the office staff. I will search for another option that answers their appointment line.
