Would give this a 3.5 rating, not quite a 4. I love Pilates and I really enjoyed taking classes. Most of the instructors are fantastic and great at walking the class through the workouts. They have different level classes for all experience levels. I have been taking 8 classes a month for about a year now and in that time, I looked forward to every class but there are some things that I think could use some improvement. Some things are out of the clubs control or intentional, but others are small things that could easily improve member experiences.
This is the only place I’ve gone so I don’t have anything to compare it to but this location is very small. There are 12 reformers and the workout space is just right but everything else is very cramped. There’s a cubby area for you to store your belongings when you walk in but the classes back up to one another with only about 5 minutes between so there’s always people on top of people trying to get their things and swap out socks/shoes, standing in line. There’s also only one bathroom and no changing area.
The price is another thing - Pilates IS NOT CHEAP. I paid about $180/month which got me only 8 50-minute classes a month (that’s with a discount). I heard them tell someone who wanted to sign up with both her daughters that Unlimited was OVER $260/month per person. In my opinion, the price is too high. There are other private gyms (i.e. Orangetheory, Kickboxing etc) that are much more affordable (still expensive) and you can go more often. You can take far less classes but it will still be expensive (about $25/class) and honestly, if you are looking for real improvement, I don’t know if just a few will be enough to see progress.
Compared to other memberships I’ve had, this one is different - almost like people just keep to themselves. There’s not a lot of interacting with one another there. After taking almost 100 classes, I don’t think anyone who worked there ever remembered my name, not even the front desk people who you had to tell your name to to check in. That is completely different from every other gym I’ve ever been a part of. I think using a dry erase marker for each person to write their name on their mirror/space would be a fun way for members and instructors to be more personal and interactive with one another. Then again, some people may like to walk in and not talk with anyone, do their workout, and walk out - basically completely undisturbed.
The club also gives recognition to people for the classes they attend; however, they don’t start until you hit 250 classes. Little things, like celebrating people hitting more achievable milestones (10, 25, 50, 75, 100, etc) would probably help with morale and motivation and keep people coming longer.
Again, love Pilates and the instructors are awesome and great people who really do a great job guiding you through your workouts.

I had NO idea how much I would love Pilates! I only go twice a week for now (Since Nov.) but am feeling so much stronger, more tone, energetic and I actually really look forward to these classes each week. Greg is an amazing trainer. He is very detailed in explaining the "why" behind "what" we are learning. He tells you what to do each step of the way, so your form is in line with your breathing and he goes around and makes sure you are using the equipment correctly also. The front desk girls are very welcoming also. I highly recommend you try the intro class, then give it a month and see what you think - you won't regret it!
