Question Diagnostics at Maquire Rd My appointment was at 1:30, the 1st technician Marguerite A.said my Dr’s order on the paper was missing the address, she told me I have to request another one from the Dr. The Dr has sent it electronically as well, she said she couldn’t find it. So I went back out contacted the Dr’s office and they immediately faxed a copy to the lab. I waited in the waiting area for a while, no one called me so I asked another technician Lizette when she opened the door. She was reluctant to help me check if the fax arrived after I explained the situation. Since the other technician was helping someone else I asked her again to check. She checked and told me she couldn’t find it. She told me to wait for the other technician that helped me. The 1st technician instead of checking on my situation, she went on and called someone else on the queue. I had to tell her again that a fax was supposed to be there. She then checked again and found it under a different name (both orders came up on the Quest Diagnostic system when I signed in to my account, so it wasn’t the problem that the requests were not in the system and the 1st technician could have looked further and find it in the system) I went in with Lizette but she didn’t know how to ensure that the same tests being requested by 2 different doctors will not end up charging me twice, she also didn’t know how to deal with the 2 different names (my middle name was used on one of them), so she told me to wait for the 1st technician that helped me instead. I had to wait more time for that technician to finish with her patient. By the time I finally see the 1st technician it was 2:15! The 1st technician wasn’t friendly or apologetic when I complained about what happened. Even though she finally took care of drawing my blood and told me I shouldn’t be charged twice (I didn’t know how to read the QD bill to confirm that - someone who is reading this can please double check). I finally had to say to her about her attitude and I felt she could have at least apologized for making me go through all that and wasted my time. She then reluctantly said something but it was obvious that she didn’t really want to apologize and certainly didn’t act apologetic . The whole experience would have been different if any of the technicians would care enough to take an extra step to help me look into the situation and really care about the patients’ experiences and respect their time. My 1:30 appointment didn’t finish till 2:23!

We came here because it’s the only lab that was in-network for our insurance. I highly recommend an appointment. We didn’t have to wait long because we had an appointment but other people there who didn’t have an appointment waited forever. I didn’t love that I couldn’t talk to a live person on the phone or when I got there. Restrooms are only available once you get back to the lab. Restrooms had a trickle of water barely enough to wash my hands and the dryer didn’t work with no paper towels in sight. Our phlebotomist was only pleasant after she got all of our information. After that it was more at ease. She brought in support to help with our babies first labs. She did have to draw on two sides which was a down fall. But the distraction of the other phlebotomist was very helpful & not as traumatic as it could’ve been. I would go back only if I had to.

Very bad experience at Quest Diagnostics in Ocoee, FL. The staff were rude and unprofessional, with poor communication throughout the visit. I was not treated with basic respect, and the process was handled in a disorganized and confusing way. My test was marked incorrectly due to unclear instructions, which caused unnecessary delays. This location seriously lacks professionalism and respect for patients. I would not recommend it.

Honestly, this laboratory is a total dump—completely unprofessional. They don't treat patients well, they lack empathy toward children, and all they do is mistreat them.

This facility is very clean and nice. I’m not a fan of getting bloodwork done, so I went in a little nervous. A big shoutout to Ms. Valencia for making me feel comfortable and relaxed! She was the sweetest and very professional! I would definitely go back to her!
