Would not go here to save my life. This oral surgeon Avery is a complete waste of time. Do not let his smug attitude and sales pitch fool you. Took the fiance here as she was in pain for a single wisdom tooth. His sales pitch response after asking about local anesthesia was, I AM NOT going to do that. Unhappy that we asked about a single tooth not the 5 that he wished to pull for his bigger payday. He went on to pitch that sedation was the only procedure he would do and that if it were his daughter he would not do that to her so he would not do it to anyone. Well Avery, you are a Dentist, a Surgeon, and an alledged father, as am I. So here we are. First, I am not sure if you are tone deaf but you are an Oral Surgeon, when you take your daughter to remove her wisdom teeth are you performing the procedure? Is she not of a sound mind and age to make her own decision local vs general? Usually most people are by the average range of which those teeth come in and start to irritate? Did you give her all the facts of your profession? MY BIGGEST QUESTION, did you MAX OUT her insurance for your preference, or did you do the procedure free of charge? DO NOT BE FOOLED all Dentists wish to get paid, the difference is, I as well as the fiance honor and respect TRUTH. If I can not trust you in a conversation, I definitely can not trust you with sedation and general well being, especially a surgery. Your arrogance is a stain to this profession. I hope that the next individual reading this understands that accepting mediocre and blessing it with ignorance keeps people like him paid. Also, the reason for this review is the prescription that was supposed to be sent to the pharmacy never arrived, the call back for a treatment plan never happened, I guess the 265.00 cash after single insurance for the single tooth just is not in your wallets best interest. Nor was the 77.00 cash after insurance for the panoramic xray that your tech almost initiated without a jacket. (LITERALLY HAD TO REQUEST IT AS THE TECH WALKED OUT THE ROOM BEFORE STARTING)
Crazy part is she is double insured, and actually requested the plan for the 5 teeth.
Next time you try to relate, BE HONEST, the only thing you were honest about is that you were NOT going to do the local anesthesia. Thats fine we can always call around.
In case anyone is reading, you should not max out your insurance all at once in the beginning of the year, who knows what else would or could happen throughout the next 8 months. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE PITCH. Take care of yourself and understand, a deceptive sales pitch is hurtful, what do you think this person will do when things hit the fan? The lie sounds good to those of a lesser mind. What a joke........
